Let's say you are "amchoney143" and have three friends that ask and award best answer from "jokes & riddles". Those three friends are "mylesaquinillo", "Katie" and "nachelle."
Let's say that "amchoney143" answers 15 from "mylesaquinillo", 15 from "Katie" and 10 from "nachelle' and gets awarded all 40 of them?
That's 40 of the 54 he/she has. Which means that getting 40 of 40 is enough to want me to go buy a lottery ticket. I mean this is a "can't lose" situation.
Then that leaves 14 best answers from the other 70. Wow, that percentage drops to a whopping 20%.
Here's the riddle - Do you think I'm reading way too much into this? Or do you think it's a coincidence that 40 out of 40 is a right on?
Think about it. If Barry Bonds went to the plate and hit 40 homeruns in 40 at bats, steroids or no, I'd have to put him into the Hall of Fame.
Let's put "amchoney143" into the Yahoo answers Hall of Fame. Hey, 40 out of 40 will be hard to top. What do you think?

I'll bet Bocephus (not Hank Williams, Jr) doesn't have any fun except knocking people on line.

Thanks Rose, but I know you are only kidding. Besides it would take 60 - 70 and that wouldn't be enough.

Gordooo2 You are right. And I earned every free minute I have.

To nerd-gace - No, not hypothetical. It's on the level. I'd say check for yourself but it would be a waste of your time.

I am grown up Nate. Can't I have fun here like you and everyone else? I am aware there are no rewards for most points or best answers. It's about letting these people know they aren't as smart as they think they are. Just having a little fun at their expense.

Shortcut - Sure, it's cheating. But who really cares. They've been busted. It won't change a thing. It's fun exposing clowns who think they're putting something over on you and me.

Good catch. I've noticed the same thing. When you answer a certain category and always see the same person get best answer you have to believe they are in cahoots together.
I've also noticed that "amchoney143" never gets best answer from "gobbledeegook", "The Joke Fairy", or "Chrisisback".
These posters put many jokes, etc, up all the time. It's obvious these people play the game fair and square.

Answer to your riddle: You ARE reading way too much into this, and although your question is purely hypothetical I am sure, I do not have any friends that are called mylesaquinillo, Katie or nachelle and my name isn't amchoney143 so I would not know.

So that's why some people are asking so many questions in a row! Also why there isn't as many asking questions on yahoo in the same time frame as use to be! I think it's cheating!
