My reaction would be - Wow, how did this happen to little ol' me?
Then I would try to find out what HIS favorite foods are, and what HE likes to make, and make it for him. I would make sure my silver is polished, my table is set to perfection, but I would make sure the evening is a relaxing one for both of us!
That night: I would welcome him, sit him down in my parlor for the starters, and then bring him to the table. No apologies about how tiny my kitchen is, or how many cats I have, or about the food. If he wants to critique it, fine, but he might be sick of talking about food and want a normal dinner conversation, which I know I can provide. I would make sure he felt welcome and well fed.
It would be the start of a great friendship!

Frankly, there is a big difference between a home and a restaurant. I would hope that he has the decency to acknowledge that and be polite. Also, remember that what he does on TV is somewhat for the camera. Even if he is an *** in the kitchen in real life, a person's home is different.
If I were cooking for ANY professional chef, I would try my best to have a clean kitchen and to make good food. I would also welcome input on how to make the food better.
As for the food, I would keep is simple. I would grill something on our BBQ pit using good oak charcoal (steak, sausage, and/or chicken). With that, I would make herbed roasted potatoes (everyone I make them for loves them) and some steamed vegetables (broccoli or green beans).

If I heard that, I'd say "Really?!?" with an evil smile and a glint in my eye. I would be nice, hospitable, and charming. He would eat the same way we do, only on the good china. I'd do a mix of my grandma's recipes (comfort food) and more of my tried and true more gourmet things. I'd take some constructive criticism, but if he got annoying, I'd be my mom and say "This is my house, you eat what we're eating. The end. Want another glass of wine?"

I'd be delighted. Since I'm in Baja California Mexico he might like some local food, chili rellanos, enchiladas, some good wines from the Baja Guadalupe Valley. He is a hoot and his show is well produced, we never miss it.

I would be ecstatic, I really admire his work. I am a country girl so I would cook him some southern comfort foods. Fried chicken, collard greens, pinto beans, mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, and some good ole' cornbread. And sweet tea to wet his whistle. But if he doesn't like it and starts rantin and raving around. Like I said I am a country girl so I would tell my husband " Go get the shotgun".

My knee jerk reaction would be "What the #&*#$?!?!?". Then I would try to find the most beautiful young women I could to come to dinner also and serve lots of wine. That way he would be too distracted and drunk to notice the food (which would be unacceptable no matter what I served anyway).

I would be scared, excited, nervous. I am a trained chef, but you lose passion sometimes.
I think I would cook my Chicken or Steak Fajitas with Guacamole.

Who is Gordon Ramsey?
Honestly, I guess I'd try googling the name or something to figure out who that is, then I'd probably clean the house and put on lipstick.
