YES, it's certainly possible to die of a broken heart, but it usually takes a very major break and an already weakened heart.

When people think of fatal heartbreak, though, other less plausible scenarios often come to mind. If someone is so devastated by a loss that he or she stops eating, for instance, jumps off a building, or, instead of sprinting away from a predator, turns around to tell the beast a tale of woe, that person is not going to fare well. But that's not the kind of fatal heartache we are considering here. Nor is it the case of a guy who gets catastrophic news and, wailing, clutches his chest and keels over dead from sudden cardiac arrest. While there have been such cases following powerful emotional distress, they are extremely rare, more common to the movies than real life. -

It depends what weapon you use to try to break the heart. If you are able to break into the chest, and crush or slice the heart, the being would soon die, if not quickly operated on.

No, don't be so faint-hearted, toughen up. Life is full of ups and downs and when the time is right you will meet someone that is right for you, better and worth loving, move on and keep yourself busy go out with your friends. Time will heal the wounds one day you'll look back and this would be just another tiny meaningless incident. Good luck.

its not the broken heart that kills you. its the stupid thing you'll do to yourself after she cheated or left you for another dude. Bro let her go and move on. Things happen for a reason. If you did nothing wrong, don't call her, trust me i know this. You'll have her back in your arms in less than a month.

Only if you allow yourself,to get so depressed you don't eat, sleep for days on end!
Hopefully ,you still value yourself with or without someone enough to go on eating healthy, getting out with friends or just to a movie!
I wish you the best!
