I don't get it! Are they trying to be funny? Can we report them?
To all you people who have asked this question, it is old. It wasn't even funny the first time. Can i just say 'have some originality, people'? Take lessons from Tom Foolery. at least he/she is somewhat creative.

I know what you mean. It's about as funny as asking some one who eats meat if they eat vegetable crackers, which is obviously a stupid question. But whatever, it's their lives, and it's not like we have to answer their question.

It's just the stupidity of some people that go onto Answers. It's part ignorance, a little bit of obnoxiousness, and a lack of thought.

Tom Foolery's posts, though I wouldn't waste my time answering them, ARE a breath of fresh air compared to the typical garbage-questions.

It's kind of like the same question over and over again in other posts, like "Am I pregnant?" a thousand times a day, every day in the Pregnancy and Parenting board.

It's a lame joke. I think it's their "dig" because they are "animal" crackers and vegans don't eat anything animal. So just smile and say something like, "that was funny the first 100 times I heard it!" And laugh. It will get your point across.♥

They do it because they apparently enjoy being hypocrites by b*tching about the mean judgmental vegans while they sit in judgment over US.

By the way, meat eaters: If you took the time to exercise a bit of common sense, you'd realize that many, if not most, of us ethical vegans want to have polite and caring relationships with you so as to not turn you completely off from the vegan lifestyle. We save our fury for the animal industries.

I think at least some people are doing it innocently and they don't realize how worn out the joke is.

At least some of the others do it because they know they are being annoying.

It's tiresome, but somehow I don't think it justifies getting reported.

People who ask questions about cannibalism, eating poop or having sex with animals deserve to be reported. I think people who come to the vegetarian forum and say "I just cooked a juicy steak, mmmm." deserve to be reported too--they are obviously doing that to be obnoxious. "Animal crackers" just doesn't seem that blatantly malevolent, or at least not to me.

I think that's a fair question, only because I don't know the ingredients to animal crackers, so I would guess there is eggs or dairy in it, and the answer is no.

NO person ALWAYS asks ANY question.

The question of that form is often heard.

Motivations for asking that kind of question seem psychologically trivial. I wouldn't worry myself about it, nor would I consider the supposed "questioner" to be a very deep or serious person.

Yeah, they think it is funny. Really, it kind of is... in that dorky "how's the weather up there" for tall people kind of way. Regardless, it is just a joke. I think you are totally overreacting.

No idea maybe they are trying to be funny, I guess its a knee jerk reaction to such repeated posts about how veg*ns think meat eaters are killers blah blah blah etc etc....

Yes, it's to be funny. And it's stupid. It's not like we ask people who are against cannibalism if they eat gingerbread men.
