I Get the Veggy Sub. I have jalepenos, mushrooms, onions, a little bit of everything on it except the meat and regular cheese!
If they have soya cheese I ask for that! They charge a little more when they at that! I gave one Subway my fake meat recipe.. She said she'll take it to the boss! Now at that one sub there is fake meat for those who want it! Sometimes I have it and sometimes no! The small subs are big enough for me! My friend Noella she likes the Jumbo subs.. I didn't even know they made such a size!

It's weird, I'm a vegetarian and i HATE subs of all kind. All that lettuce and stuff...just doesn't work for me. I've only had Subway once in my life, and that was on a school field trip. I was given a sandwich with cheese, lettuce, and tomato. I took 1 bite, with the lettuce, and thought it tasted disgusting, so I took out the veggies and ate a cheese sandwich.
:)

I very rarely eat at Subway, but when I do, I get the Veggie Delite on the white bread.

And I put on it: lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onions, bell pepper, and mustard. I hate how the places that have spinach charge extra. Snarl.

But I'll only eat at Subway when I have no other choice but missing a meal.

I just tell them not to put meat on (veggie sub) and get mostly everything else (pickles, lettuce green peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes). But usually i just get a salad.

I get a meatball sub without the meat balls as long as the marinara has not touched meatballs. Often the only marinara sauce is in with the meatballs and I have to pass on Subway.
So on my sub:
Marinara sauce
Hot peppers
Mayonaise
Cheese
And I get it heated. :)

I used to work at Subway, and I wouldn't eat at Subway, not now, not ever.

I worked there before I went vegan, and I can tell you right now that you use the same knife to slice buns in half whether they're stuffed with meatballs or nothing but veggies. There are added sugars inside the bread dough that aren't vegetarian (white sugar is often filtered through animal bone char). Most of the dressings and vinaigrettes aren't vegan.

Even if you get nothing but veggies, you're supporting a corporation that purchases massive amounts of meat every single year.

Basically, all the kitchen equipment, knives, cutting surfaces, and even food containers hold meat or work with meat every day, and your vegetables and bread slide right through all that stuff.

The meat would come in packets from some distribution center, who knows how long that corpse meat was sitting around in the backs of trucks and trailers and corporate meat lockers? It's gross to think how long meat is dead before it goes into a sandwich. The roast beef was always absolutely soaked in blood.

All the employees I worked with at the time were vegan, there were all immigrants from India, and none of them would even taste the food to see if the meat rotted or not. I wasn't vegan when I worked there, I was a meat eater then (this was about 4 years ago) and even I wouldn't want to taste the meat, even though it would look slippery, shiny or really bloody coming out of the bag sometimes.

I would encourage you to buy or make your own fresh, delicious bread and load it with avocado slices, bean sprouts, hummus, and whatever else strikes your fancy.

No cheese, but I used to like the green peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, sometimes with the sweet onion sauce as well. Now I've read maggie's info, I can't see myself going there again though.
