If you mean second hand smoke it's when you inhale smoke that has been exhaled by a smoker. It generally gives the second hand smoker the same negative effects that the original smoker gets.

When someone near you is smoking a cigarette, the smoke that is burning off the lit end of the cigarette and the smoke that is being exhaled by the smoker mixes together to form secondhand smoke. Since much of the smoke in the air is unfiltered, many people believe that secondhand smoke is worse than firsthand. The smoke will fill the room and potentially harm every person who can smell it.

Do you mean second hand smoke? It's what you're breathing when you're not actually sucking on the end of a cigarette, but just inhaling the smoke that's in the air.

Second HAND smoke is being exposed to the smoke that comes out of a smoker's cigarette. Constant exposure to second hand smoke is almost as dangerous as smoking itself.

If you mean second hand smoke, it is the involuntary inhalation of smoke from tobacco products. It occurs when tobacco smoke permeates any environment, causing inhalation by all people within that environment. Such smoke is called secondhand smoke or environmental tobacco smoke (ETS). Current scientific evidence shows that exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke causes death, disease and disability.

So basically when someone is smoking beside you and you breathe in that smoke.

It's called second hand smoke. It is when someone breathes in the smoke of a cigarette, but they aren't smoking it. Someone around them is. Second hand smoke is still deadly, and can cause lung cancer, asthma, and other chronic illnesses. Parents aren't supposed to smoke around their kids.

I think you may mean second-hand smoke. It is generally applied to mean any smoke inhaled by a non-smoker when the smoker is in the home, workplace, or nearby.
