I don't believe people will become food, no, but as depicted in the movie I think some foods will become very precious and hard to get. Food that we take for granted.

That is just a movie. Our real future will be nothing like that. There are a thousand different ways our future could be that bad or worse, and a thousand ways it could be better. So far, we have done WAY better than is depicted in the movie. There is no way New York's population will grow to 40 million by 2022 as depicted in the movie for example.
