Only a blood test can tell you if you have diabetes or if your levels are elevated and you may be on your way to getting it. If you continue to be concerned about it, you can get a glucose monitoring kit and test yourself at home -- instead of having to go to the dr. -- to ease your worries.
Are you sure the frequent urination is not due to drinking a lot of liquids?

you are a normal boy!!! boys your age are either invincible or horribly insecure, both ends of this spectrum are horrid to go through, but happen.
If you are that concerned about it, get another blood test. Better yet, go to Walgreen Drugs and get the little Side Kick glucose monitor. It has about 50 test strips in it. Test your glucose every morning when you wake up for the 50 days. Make a notebook to write down these readings, also note all the foods and drinks you are inhaling. and write down the exercise sessions you participate in as well, their duration and intensity.
Side Kick is a disposable monitor and is inexpensive, often under $30.
This will give you some ammunition to take with you to the doctor's office or relieve your mind. Good luck and keep playing ball!!!

Your blood tests would have shown your Blood Glucose level and your doctor would have been able to tell you whether or not your levels were too high. If diabetes is in your family, there is always the chance that you may develop it, but frequent urination is not the only symptom. Common symptoms of high blood sugar also include, dry mouth, excessive thirst, fruity breath odor, irritability among others. If you are still concerned, the best thing to do is talk to your doctor.

There's no need to freak out. At your age and weight, there's practically zero chance of having (type 2) diabetes. Sounds more like anxiety to me. I'm going to go with the other person that says cut back on the caffeine. If you were becoming diabetic, the blood test two months ago would have picked it up. It's a gradual process. Plus, there would most likely be other symptoms. If you had most of the following, I would be concerned, but only a blood test can tell for sure.

diabetEs.
ahah sorry my mother spells it like that and it gets on my nerves.
my symptons before being diagnosed were frequent urination and excessive thirst. this went on for two weeks then i could not take it anymore. i even wanted to go swimming so i could just soak up water. thats how bad it was. in this two weeks i lost ten pounds. and at the time i was only 120lbs so i became thinner, my jeans didnt fit me after two weeks.
being a teenager i was devastated. my mother recognized symptoms for diabetes and tested my Blood Glucose Level with her brothers Glucometer. (a normal pediatric, hospital, or clinic should have one) and it read "HI"... HI=diabetes.
i STRONGLY suggest that you take another blood test, its just a quick prick doesnt hurt at all. one from months ago tells diddly SQUAT.
if the test is above 250 then you are most likely diabetic. :(
its not that bad... get an insulin pump if you do have it :) they work wonders.

I come from a family that is prone to late onset diabetes.
When you're susceptible to it, you feel thirsty a lot and drink a lot and urinate a lot, and also feel nauseous if you eat a lot of sugary food.
The thing is, if you're doing a lot of sports, you will need to drink a lot because you'll be thirsty, which means you will urinate a lot because your body is processing faster - but this is fine, it's normal!
Listen hon, if you're worried about it, do something about it. Go to your doctor and tell him you want to be checked for diabetes. Then start educating yourself on food options - life doesn't end when you develop a sensitivity to certain foods, you know! You don't deprive yourself of anything you don't need, and you don't feel hungry at all ...
In your case, you're probably fine, but if you're worried, do the sensible thing and see a doctor.

yes, you could tell. and if you were in danger of it he would have told you so and recommended that you watch your diet. understand, too, that part of the frequent urination is from the frequent drinking diabetics do... thirst is part of undiagnosed diabetes. I would not worry too much about it. Just relax. You are fine.

Frequent urination can be caused by different things....try cutting back on caffeine and see if that makes a difference.
