Very few 15 year olds have heart trouble. If you did, your doctor would know about it. Listen to him - there is nothing wrong with your heart. You are probably doing some sort of repetitive motion or activity that has irritated the muscles and hurts occasionally. Tylenol or ibuprofen would be appropriate treatment for this when it occurs.

Sounds gastric to me, perhaps an acid reflux (acid from your tummy making its way up the food pipe). This food pipe runs up the centre chest by your heart and could explain why you feel this way. If you're waking at night to check you're alive then that IS anxiety. Naturally if you think there's something wrong with your heart then you will worry, even subconciously. For that reason alone I'd check in with your Doc, some minor checks will help sort this out. Meanwhile try gaviscon (or similar antacid). In closing - i don't think its anything to worry about but you ought to get it sorted coz there's no need to live with any pain no matter how minor or irritating.

If it comes and goes, it's probably not your heart. Could just be a pulled/sore muscle in your chest. If it only hurts when you breathe in, it might be a lung infection though. You should get it checked if it doesn't go away in a few days.

You need to see a doctor. It's probably something very minor, like indigestion for example, but it might just be something more serious and you need to know. So go to your GP
