With the exception of that the sugar may have been filtered using bone char, they are all good.

On a side note, you are actually pretty lucky these are vegan (probably). I've picked up a lot or dark chocolate items that still contain milk fat even though it is completely unnecessary. Rawr. Granted, dark chocolate has at least a chance of being vegan...

Yes. They are probably fine. Cocoa mass (usually called cocoa solids) is the part of the cocoa bean that gives chocolate its distinct flavor and brown color. Know that some brands of sugar are processed with animal bones, though. The only way to know for sure is to ask the company for their sugar source and then contact the company that produces the sugar what process they use.

These seem to be vegan, except it's possible the sugar could have been filtered through bone charcoal. If your really concerned about it. You can call the company to see if they can help you. Most company’s put there phone number on there products.

You might have to be put on hold several times and you might be given several different numbers to call, but in the end you should be able to find out the answer. It might be a lot of trouble, but you’ll be given a good piece of mind if you like to get these cherries again in the future.

Yep, they seem vegan to me. Can you send a couple my way? I love chocolate-covered cherries--Rose City Chocolatier makes a fantastic cherry cordial that I hope I remembered to request for Chanumasolstice.

I tend not to worry about the sugar issue, except when I'm actually buying sugar, and then I get turbinado or evaporated cane juice.

I'd eat 'em (well, except for the fact that I don't like cordial cherries... but that's not relevant.) The only *possible* concern you might have is whether or not the sugar was filtered through bone char.
