I just know there's going to be a lot of answers saying the UK has the worst food - normally posted by people who've never been here. But have a look here

A UK restaurant in the top 2 for 4 years. How do you like them apples?

IMO no country has a bad cuisine - countries that have little produce tend to make great dishes out of necessity. Countries with a lot of money/produce take on lots of outside influences to produce really wide ranging cuisine.

Depends on your tastes really.

I would say the most revolting food is Balut. Balut are duck eggs that have been incubated until the fetus is all feathery and beaky, and then boiled alive. The bones give the eggs a uniquely crunchy texture. They are enjoyed in Cambodia, Philippines and the fifth and seventh levels of hell.

Of the First World countries, I would think the UK has bad home cooking. There's only so much you can do with boiling... lol.

In regards to the list, mentioned above, the UK restaurants listed are French or Asian inspired cuisines, not native UK cooking. If those apples are French or Asian inspired, I'll like them a lot. I'm still leery of the UK apples. :-P
