I can't help you with finding an endo in Mumbai, but I can tell you that, with some effort, you can learn nearly as much about taking care of yourself with a few books and plenty of research on the Internet. If you're seeking help with diabetes, for example, my diabetes info page (under my profile) is a pretty good launching point. I've done years of research into the subject and am managing my blood glucose quite well... all without a doctor. I'm not saying don't see a doc, I am saying that you can do some pretty remarkable things, if you put your mind to it. Here's just one example.... By following the lessons that I've learned about eating and exercise, I managed a 79 mg/dl (4.4 mmol/l) on Sunday two hours after lunch (with fries, thank you) WITH NO MEDICATION. How did I manage that? Knowledge and hard work. I've compiled quite a bit of information on my diabetes info page (link under my profile) if you're interested in learning more about how I manage normal glucose readings. BTW, I'm a type 2.
