it would go something like this "GO F**K YOURSELF YOU PEDOPHILE SCUMBAG!!!"
then if the person came towards me I would assume they were going to attack and then beat the bag out of said person.

I'd be a little nervous - obviously this person is a little unbalanced to be coming up to a complete stranger and shouting abuse. Maybe I'd try and calm them down with soothing reassurance, then get them a blanket and a nice warm drink. Then call the authorities.
By the way - it should be 'an appalling' not 'a appalling'
Does correcting your grammar make it sound intellectual?

I would say:
1. Since you don't know me in any way shape or form, you are not in a position to judge whether or not I am "appalling".
2. Your own religious doctrine specifies "let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Are you implying you are the only perfect person on this planet? Are you truly completely without sin?"
3. Since you haven't actually seen or talked to "god", haven't talked to anyone who has been to heaven, and that the bible was written by men (and a couple of women like Ruth), you actually have no proof whatsoever that there is a hell or who has to go there, and what actions in life determine who goes there. Therefore your claims and argument have zero basis on which make them.
Now go away.
--------------
PAULO (an answerer above) - I agree with you, true Christians SHOULDN'T be that way. Unfortunately for both of us, there are plenty out there that do judge and make claims like that.

I would tell them to mind their own business/stop spreading their faith around. I would say, 'I don't believe in hell, I'm not the appalling individual, you are for insulting me like that, I don't need the 2000 year old morals of Yeshua, I don't rely on fairytales to make me feel like there is purpose to my existence, I don't care that ultimately anything I do is insignificant, I'm just going to enjoy the life that I have for as long as I can, without some fanatic or idiot ending it for me, which is much more likely to happen than me doing it myself.

I've actually had that happen. The minister from the Zion Baptist Church tells me this every year in May when he tries to convert me. I'm not kidding.
He always asks if I'll go to Heaven when I die, and upon telling him my beliefs he shoots me a look, tells me that I'm doomed to an eternity of pain and torment, and that only Jesus can save me. This has been going on for years now, and I sometimes wonder about his long-term memory.
I simply remind him that I respect his beliefs and ask that he extend the same courtesy to me. Sometimes, I really want to tell him off, but I was raised to be respectful of everyone and so I bite my tongue and say nothing.

I would tell the lunatic to get away from me or I would call the cops.
Once I received some hate mail from several Christians because of a letter I had sent to the editor of a local newspaper. I responded to those people by writing them back and saying that I could tell from their letters that they weren't true Christians because of all the hate their letters contained. I enclosed some religious pamphlets and told them that the pamphlets would tell them how to become REAL Christians. I imagine they probably didn't like that response much. None of them ever wrote to me again.

Someone said almost exactly that to me the other day actually, while I was walking to a nearby hardware store. I said 'Oh? How do you figure?' and the nutter replied 'Because it says so in the Bible that Jesus died for your sins'. Long story short I eventually got him to admit that his faith in Christianity based on the Bible was illogical given the number of contradictory holy books that he hadn't even read, and he conceded that it was possible I wouldn't 'suffer and die' without Jesus, though he still believed I would. I think it went well, all things considered.

I would say:
God is Love, where is yours, right now?
.... but intellectually....
I would say:
If i need Jesus, not to go to hell or not to be appalling, then truthfully i am just using him for those benefits. Is that what you seriously want me to do?

My dear sir, my being appalling has no connection to you, jesus nor hell. I pride myself on being appalling by virtue of arrogance, whereas you are arrogant by virtue of being appalling. Begone!
How's that? I never was any good at 'intellectual'.

Maybe something like:
"I thank you for your concern, and will take your advice in heed, though I beg to argue, your God would forgive me in my death bed, anyway, as many of your "saints" foretold. Have Merry Christmas!"
but, most probably, if it were on the spot, and I were a bit hot, I'd probably tell them to go rape a boy like their ancestors did!
