there is no such thing as a miracle. there is an explanation for everything. hence, miracles don't happen today and they never happened anyway.

"Still happen today?" They didn't happen yesterday, the day before, or ever, and you can go back to the time humans became sentient, intelligent beings. Since a "miracle" is ascribed to a divine or supernatural cause (more commonly to the Judeo-Christian-Islamic god of Abraham), it is used by monotheists as a convenient explanation for events that at first blush seem unexplainable. But for the most part the answer can be found through scientific inquiry, study, and investigation. Eventually, a scientific explanation will be found to explain unusual or extraordinary events.
But, believers continue to believe in miracles. Astonishing medical recoveries, for example, are certified to be "miracles" because there is no "natural" explanation. But that does not at all mean that there is, therefore, a "supernatural" one. The preceding is an example of "evidence by faith." But what can be asserted WITHOUT EVIDENCE (such as a "miracle") -and by faith alone - can also be DISMISSED because there is no evidence.
But I know that I can talk until I'm blue in the face, and believers will still never unchain their minds to do their own thinking. Believers are comfortable in their "faith-based" mindset. They will continue to believe in miracles, even if the last mythically great ones were Jesus raising the dead twice (Lazarus and the daughter of Jairus) and resurrecting himself. Whatever "miracles" there are that happen in the minds of Christians today will certainly be paltry and puny compared to those three resurrections of dead bodies.

I'm a Christian by the grace of God. Yes Miracles still happen today even more than the Bible times beacuse the Bible states that "greater things we will do". I can tell you many but the greatest miracle is the salvation of your soul if you are a Christian and is born again. What about the miracle of sleeping and waking up? Have you ever thought of how you are able to do that?
Apart form above ones, I'll advice you to go for a Christian revival meeting or healing service where you will see the blind recieve their sight, people getting up from wheel chairs after years of confinement and a lot more. Yes miracles still happen and I am a miracle myself.

When I was an unbeliever and a HUGE Darwinist, I asked this God unseen, to prove to me that He existed by showing me a miracle. By His inaction - I was proved that there was no God.
I felt empty inside and had problems uncounted flow through my life (sin) and I had heard and understood a little of this "religion" thing. I set my heart to understand it for I wanted my life to be better. Over these last 15 years I have came down the hard, rocky road of redemption and given my life, heart and soul, over to the God who made me. He has filled my life with strength and joy and contentment. He has removed the scales from my eyes so now I see the miracles that are all around us. You do not ask for miracles for proof - He shows you miracles for you to love.
When you hold your newborn baby in your arms - do not think that this is biologic - it's a MIRACLE!
When you say the perfect words to a stranger and your words change their life - do not think it was a coincidence - it's a MIRACLE!
When you wake up in the morning, when you are safe and warm and protected, when you see the colors paint the morning sky with an indescribable beauty, know that God's hand is at the center of it - and it's ALL A MIRACLE!

I am christian... I have heard millions of miracle stories...But some are hard to believe may be true though. I don't Know. But as a strong believer of God, I never lose faith or hope. I am still praying for a miracle to happen, everyday. No one knows for sure whether something such as a miracle exists but I pray that it does. Just don't lose faith..

Yes!!! Miracles do happen EVERYDAY!! I have an amazing friend with abundant faith in the Lord, and she was healed 4 yrs ago from Thyroid cancer which spread to her lymphnodes. Her doctors told her that she would only live for 6 months or less. They had little hope...but she said that she would be healed since she prayed to God, and HE let her know that she didn't have to worry, and that HE would heal her completely!!! By the grace of God, she was healed!!! She even brought her family members in with her that were skeptical about her healing and faith...they too had little hope for her and thought she was just in denial about her "eminent death". When the ultrasound tech tried to find the cancerous tumors that had plagued her lymphnodes and surrounding tissue....he couldn't!!!! ( : JUST AS SHE WAS PROMISED BY GOD, THE CANCER WAS COMPLETELY GONE!!!! The doctors, nurses, the entire staff and family were all in shock and amazement!!! My friend just layed there smiling and crying at the same time, and said to everyone, " I TOLD YOU I WAS HEALED!!!!!" AMEN....
If that isn't a miracle, I don't know what is!!!
IF YOU BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH IN GOD ABOVE, HE WON'T LET YOU DOWN...HE'LL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU!!!
If one doesn't have faith and trust in God, then why should he help them?? All he wants is for us to TRUST IN HIM...and he will give us the desires of our hearts!! Lack of faith will get you NOWHERE!!
I BELIEVE GOD, AND HAVE COMPLETE FAITH IN HIM FOR MY MIRACLES!!! Everyone should!!
Matthew 21:22 And ALL THINGS, WHATEVER YOU ASK IN PRAYER, BELIEVING, YOU WlLL RECEIVE!!!!

The biggest miracles usually happen far away or long time ago!
In my Christian days I was surprised to see and hear a person that I knew who was cured of breast cancer. That person was actually lying to enhance the Power of God. She refused to accept the truth that she actually had breast cancer and she died of it! Rebuking Satan doesn;t work all the time!
Check this...
Hosea 9:14-16 (NIV) (the prophet is improvising a prayer to the LORD!!!...) Give them, O LORD— what will you give them? Give them wombs that miscarry and breasts that are dry. (And God rushes to answer him on the spot!!!) "Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal, I hated them there. Because of their sinful deeds, I will drive them out of my house. I will no longer love them; all their leaders are rebellious. Ephraim is blighted, their root is withered, they yield no fruit. EVEN IF THEY BEAR CHILDREN, I WILL SLAY THEIR CHERISHED OFFSPRING."
God always answers our prayer if we ask him “according to his will”… even before we open our eyes!
Jeremiah 16:3-4 (NIV) For this is what the LORD says about the sons and daughters* (*babies) born in this land and about the women who are their mothers and the men who are their fathers: "They will die of deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried but will be like refuse lying on the ground. They will perish by sword and famine, and their dead bodies will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth."
It is easier for God to answer a prayer requesting punishment than healing!

Yes, Catholic; by all purposes I shouldn't be here today; when I was 2 , I walked away from a family party; 3 houses away and walked into a built in pool 6 foot end , far to the rear of the property ; I just remember hearing , scream , scream as loud as you can; an elderly woman came running out and used the skimmer to get me out, she told me that she hears kids screaming and playing outside in the road but doesn't pay attention; she said , your scream was so piercing that it gave me chills, she ran outside and again she heard the scream coming from the pool ; years later , I went back to see if the visual that I remembered was from people telling me or from my own memory ; the setup of the pool and yard was exactly as I remembered. Miracles happen everyday
Life is a miracle; the moment that triggers life to begin ; and the moment that calls that life back home; no person to this day has that figured out; the miracle of the universe, works without the input of mankind; the miracle of being provided with everything that we need to nuture us, protect us; God's natural pharmacy for when all else fails; God has given us everything over and over whether oxgen, carbon dioxide used by vegetation; water, atmosphere to protect us from frying , gravity; the greatest love in our hearts, the best orchestra music that we ever heard; the beauty of the flight of a bird, the music of nature; the wonder of the ocean waves beating on the shore, the magnificant colors ; that God provides for his creatures everything and more; so much , disregarded by ego filled individuals who can't see the beauty and miracle in life.

Still happen to me; but only when I need assistance:
- drove my car with no gas in it at all, and for over an hour,
when told by Spirit to go to a prayer meeting in next city. As I drove along, praising His Grace, the gas needle went up. But as soon as I got money for gas, it then went down to E, fast.
- walked away from head on collision without a scratch,
while all others in the other vehicle went to the hospital.
- not even a scratch on my bumper from a rear end collision,
but the car that tried to rear end my car was undriveable.
- told a tornado to return to sender, and it did; made news
- lady tried to run me over while walking, hit invisible barrier, to the point her car was undriveable, and I walked away fine.
I'm NOT saying I have partiality, but have experienced things which my brain can't explain, other than "grace is sufficient". I now know it cause I've experienced it, with ample evidence. Prior to that I believed it, but didn't have evidence to know it.
Christ-ian = Christ-like
Christ is the end of the law: Romans 10:4
Christ is not the mend of law: Luke 5:36,37
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Yes they do. I prayed for a little girl who was losing her eyesight due to a vit A deficiency. A whitish colour similar to cataracts partially covered her eyes. As I prayed she fell asleep in my arms. When she woke up the white was almost completely gone. People had gathered around me and were astounded when they looked into her eyes. Only God can do such a thing.
