please help me i need it for an assignment

You are entitle to take leave if it is approved. During the holidays I worked straight 12 hour shifts during either Xmas or New Years so we could get some time off. We ran a very slim shop.

Not sure what you mean by holiday entitlement. In the US Army, all soldiers get 30 days paid leave per year. There is no special "holiday entitlement"

entitlement? none whatsoever. If you have leave accrued, you are able to request some time off. If you don't, you can't. the CO has final say as to who can take leave and for how long. the workspace still has to be manned, so it is very possible that not everyone who requests leave will get it.

some places actually get BUSIER around the holidays and fewer requests are approved.

I really despise the word 'entitlement.' What about asking for leave that you have earned?
