I had been an Internet Explorer user for years until recently in my discussions with a couple of true computer technical experts, I heard that the insider's choice of browsers was Mozilla Foxfire over Internet Explorer. So I downloaded Mozilla Foxfire and have been using it for a couple of weeks, but recently got bumped out of Yahoo! Answers for some Mozilla Foxfire technical glitch that caused me to lose my work, and it ticked me off!
I've not really come to the point where I fully appreciate why Mozilla Foxfire is all that much better. Do you know why it is supposedly better? What are the features or advantages I'm not seeing or focusing on? You may think Internet Explorer is actually better. Right now, I'm sitting on the fence on this issue and can use either one as both are loaded on my computer.
I'm looking for informed responses and not just guesses so if you do have technical know-how in this area, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks in advance for ur response

Much embarrassed...yes of course it is Firefox and not Foxfire. Forsooth, I am but a poor suffering fool for my incredible impudence!

firefox has a lot of addons that is free.. better pop-up blocking for firefox..firefox is also safer browser..it has no script add on.. i use mozilla, with DownThemAll, fasterfox,status bar, and Cool iris previews add ons.. they make browsing easier..
you should use both of them, use IE for things that you do most and safe.. use firefox for browsing..
and its firefox, not foxfire..

Firefox is so much better. Not just being fater, securer, and I don't know why you had this problem!, maybe it was caused by something else.If it was a Firefox problem then it's a rare clitch..For me and everyone i know Firefox is more customizable and has so mnay more features than Internet explorer with so many plug-ins-addons. For me it's the same type of browser as Internet explorer but it's been pimped up..The popup blocker actually works! and i am still puzled as to why you buy a PCthese days and it is not already pre-bundled on it!.
I would recommend everyone stepping up to Firefox and enjoy a better web experince.

Hahahahaha! I wouldn't use Internet Explorer if you paid me! Yes, Firefox is the better choice. By far. Heck, anything is a better choice over IE. I hardly think it's worth debating.
Also, if you please, try Opera. It's another web browser. There are arguments on which is better - Firefox or Opera. I have tried both and am partial to Firefox.

I use Mozilla firefox or sea mokey and have very few drop outs like I have got at time on explorer I use Windows XP~~

Mozilla was originally an open source software. Meaning it was continuously designed and updated by the people for the people. That's why it rocks.

firefox. i would believe that Mozzilla Firefox is the preferred by most Web Users, becuase it is acually faster, and unlike IE you can basically change Firefox to suit your every need with themes, ad on'd and plugins..etc.. thats my opnion anywae.. not 2 sure on the tech specs..

I havent got any problems with it. I just use it cause its faster :)

i tried mozilla didn't like it went back to internet explorer it's easier less hassle i don't care for stupid add ons and it is no quicker
