Prov 30:4 (NWT) Who has ascended to heaven that He may descend? Who has gathered the wind in the hollow of both hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in a mantle? Who has made all the ends of the earth to rise? What is His name and what the name of His Son, in case you know?

The JW's that I have encountered have said that Jesus is actually the arch angel Michael. IF that is a consistent JW belief then they will answer you that the person in Isaiah is not Jesus but Michael. Since Michael is an arch angel he has ascended into heaven and therefore when he became Jesus he descended.
I do not agree with this assessment at all. For Jesus is the only begotten son, who was, is, and will be.

Good point. In talking with JWs it's extremely hard to pin them down on this issue. YOu ask them who Jesus is, and they will tell you that He is God and also that He is Michael the Archangel. Then when you ask them if they are trusting in an angel for their salvation they tell you, Oh no, we trust in God! But when you remind them that they just told you Jesus is an angel, they tell you He's God.....and on it goes in one big circle. Truly, it's like they have been brainwashed and simply can't give a straight answer on this very important subject. All I know is, you cannot be saved if you deny the deity of Jesus. "Except ye believe that I am, ye shall all likewise perish." You have to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh.

1. We do not deny that God has a begotten Son (John 3:16)
2. Jehovah is NOT Jesus.
How can you be yourself, and also be your own son at the same time? What kind of logic is that?

I like pointing out how John 1:1 is so vastly different from their bible to ours and how in the Greek language the word "god" can be nothing but singular in that context, not "a" god like theirs reads.
