Sorry, I had obvious flaws in the last version of this question, I hope this clears up any confusion...

Every stalker I ever had OBVIOUSLY valued love over reason... I reject your premise that loveis greater than reason... if love is not rational, then it is sickness

I do like your question as food for thought.

I did start my intense search as a critic, looking for fault with almost everything. I found it was a great help to me for it eventually lead me to the conclusion that all the faults I did seek were in me and not in others. This lead to a great awakening.

It would still be assumed it was coming from a God. Belief would not end. And, as is evident, the arguments would never end because someone, somewhere would ignore it. Just like many now ignore their own "Holy Book" but swear it comes from God.

Random thought friend....what do you value more, reason or love?

I can't imagine the greatest commandment being anything other than about love.

The proponents of law would advocate it, and then ignore it in applying it to themselves, just like they do the other commandments.
