the output sound in the front of my pc doesn't work what can i do ?

Hi all,
i have 2 outputs audio in my pc.
one of them in the back and it works perfect
but the other one (in front of my pc) doesn't work, when i connect something to it, i don't hear any sound

anyidea what can i do ?

Un-plug the connection in the back then try the headphone jack in the front.

My system works that way as well. Plugging headphones in the back (directly into the sound card) disables the front jack.
