Most pain is experienced 12-24 even 48 hours after an extraction. If you remember how badly the tooth hurt before you had it removed, it probably really hurt more than it does right now. Try to relax and take ibuprofen 600mg- 4 times a day. Or 800mg.-3 times a day. You really will feel better soon. Until then do not rinse, spit, suck thru a straw or smoke for 3 days. That is what causes a dry socket. And if you do get one, don't panic because the Doctor will put a soothing dressing in the socket and you will feel better. Good luck to you.

Pain arises because of stimulation of nerve fibres responsible for conduction of pain. Since you pulled off your teeth mild trauma could have been resulted. If you really want to get rid of pain immediately use 2tablets of paracetamol. If pain is really severe use 1tablet of Brufen(Ibuprofen) or Diclofenac sodium which can be obtained in a pharmacy. If you have gastritis(burning stomach pain on starving) take 1tablet of omeprozole or famotidine or cimetidine along with a tablet mentioned above.

be sure your getting alot of water consumption,,,one thing you DON"T want is a condition known as dry socket. I hope that's not what's going on with you,,,but drink as much water as your tummy will hold until that socket starts to heal up. Dentists won't tell ya that either,,but that's how to combat the condition

You will have pain into the night, but should get duller the next day. It'll be touchy for a few more days.
