If you beieve there is an almighty God you certainly won't have any trouble accepting the fact that He is able to inspire men to write His words as the Bible said He did. According to the Bible it did come directly from Him.

2 Peter 1:21 for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

The Bible is God's word. It was written by people who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. It came directly from Him and not human understanding.

People are unique creatures, what works for you may not work for me, for this reason i think we ought to all develop our own understanding of god.

Religion cant be personal becuase you are accepting someone else's interpretation.

That would argue that we ought to seek God and experience God for ourselves. I agree. That is the Christian idea, I think.
