I was told prune juice works, but was wondering how much to give, and do you mix it with anything?

just give them pure orange juice three times today just 100ml at a time. that should work, also if you can dissolve a dessert spoon of brown sugar in some hot water and add that to the first glass you should see results today.

Prune juice is a very strong element. be sure to give a small amount to a baby. Expect a messy diaper. After administering this juice be patient. It will come.... Be sure to give water to keep the child hydrated. This should only be done on ocasion.

Besides the prune juice (which I always mixed with water for younger children), be sure that the child is getting plenty of fiber. Raisin Bran, Cream of Wheat, leafy green vegetables, wheat bread, are all good examples of foods that are high in fiber. There are many others.

I wouldn't know about prune juice, I've heard it works, but... Another thing that works is licorice, its like having a snack, and gets the job done at the same time...
