It can help support but usually the best answer is counciling and medication I should know I have scizophrenia but that doesn't stop from living a normal life and stay healthy.

I wouldn't say so, love and affection MAY help, but often long term care and medication might be the only solution, mental illnesses are hard to treat or cure.

No, not at all.He is mentally sick, not been able find ( or ) in his self and moorings,if we shower love and allow him to be what he is ,it would be disastrous and he may not find any need to be "normal" as he is getting all by being mentally ill!Love and affection and allow him to be what he is truly endowed with rather than imposing ourselves on him especially during formative years will help prevent mental illness and promote development of strong person.
