Actually, no...although I love Wasabi with my sushi and eat Wasabi often.
I think it has to do with my local SOURCE for Wasabi peas which is limited. I buy these in the bulk food aisle at the grocery store and unfortunately, the Wasabi peas I first bought were not that fresh. So I've not quite been bitten by the Wasabi pea bug yet although I do not discredit you for becoming addicted.
Yes, I love that extra zip that comes from Wasabi and actually, have a good supply of Wasabi paste as well as powder that I use in lots of different cooking recipes which call for a bit of extra zing.

Oh yeah!! Those, along with wasabi peanuts. In case you didn't know, they come in a wasabi hard shell coating like peanut M&M's. Oh wow! If you like peanuts these are just as addictive as the peas, maybe even a little bit more since some people don't really like the dried pea texture. For me, well I'll take either variety. Yummy! I love them, it's like playing Russian Roulette with your sinuses though. They are one of the best things to eat with a cold beer ever.
