I would just like to gain insight from those who may have a tad bit of knowledge and experience.

Well, anyone ever hear of "The Kennedy Curse?" I'm Kennedy on my mother's side (Distant like 5th cousin 2/JFK) and bad luck, premature death, womanizing and boozing all seem to plague our family!!

A curse is only as strong as the person who believes in it. If you believe bad things are going to happen to you they will because that is what you are projecting to the world thus what the world will give back to you. So you can only really be cursed with cursed thoughts.

Sure. Curse being the antonym of blessed. Anyone who does not have peace with God is cursed. As Jesus said, they are already condemned. ( John 3:18 )

So the curse is upon the entire human race. Before anything that is ever done, there is no peace with God. Only those who trust God through Jesus Christ are not condemned.

No. But I do see evidence for people believing in curses and suffering a kind of reverse placebo effect.

Superstition can be very influential in this way if given free reign in one's thoughts.

Why is this a curse? You don't have to drink or womanize. It is just your choice. 5th cousin twice removed.
