the point of this question is if God exists and is all powerful like he is said to be, how come he cannot overpower the devils influence and eliminate all the evil?

I'm afraid that he doesn't exist mate. It is entirely up to the human race to take care and preserve the planet and make it safe. Also decisions are made by humans without all this "guidance" and everything else from " God". Sorry but that is the frank truth for why all the atrocities are happening. It is purely the human race and nothing else.

This is how to answer that question
Does God exist? Yes
Why is there evil in the world?
God created it .
Why is there good in the world ?
God created it.
Choose good - heaven is your reward
Choose evil - hell is your reward
God could have just created good but then how fair would it be if he just flipped a coin when it came time to send you to hell .

God created the devil mate! there has to be someway we can tell the difference between good and evil. God left this Earth many years ago, because us humans became stupid!!
He is still here, but why help us humans who doubt and sin. Why waste his time on those who don't believe, i believe he forgives, but how many chances do we want?! How pacient does he have to be. Obviously by asking these questions you don't believe....

Its not God who lets evil in the world. It's the devil.
The devil corrupts the minds of people who eventually do the deeds of the devil. Unfortunately, victims are good people. Even so, if the good people are victims God would send them into a better place, a place where they wouldn't have to deal with pain and suffering
the devil has one mission. That is to kill everyone's soul
If you really believe that God has betrayed you, the devil has done his job. He has your support
Please do not ever think this. God only wants good for us if we are good to one another. Keep the faith strong

The rest of the animal kingdom engages in those activities.
Why would anyone expect humans to be any different?
Humans may have the potential for intelligence, but most of them still rely on their primitive animal instincts to control their behavior. That is why humans engage in war, torture, rape, and murder.

If you listen to the Christian leading the US:
Wars are good because it removes the mean people and lets democracy flower.
Torture is good because you can use it on the bad guys to help save the good guys.
rape is bad, even when the good guys get caught at it.
murder isn't murder when it's used to save the good guys.

Its our fault, as sinful natured humans and the bible says that satan is lord of this world. Like they say every dog has his day, well Satan's getting his right now. But not for long, since the back of the book says that Jesus will return one day and claim what's his.

Good question.In Quran,the angels asked Allah why did he create Adam cause soon human will kill each other.Allah replied that God knows more..so He knows whats hes doing

if adam and eve hadn't eaten the fruit, we wouldn't even be on this earth. They were like little children who didn't know right from wrong. People of their mentality don't know how to have sex!!!!!!! They probably didn't even HAVE horomones like that until after they ate the fruit!
