Yes. And they had many children.
I don't think he died on the cross. I think it was staged so that they (Jesus and his crew) could escape. They lived out the rest of their lives in France.
They hid the truth because, well, they wanted to be able to control the women, so can you imagine how much of an uproar there would have been if they would have let out the fact that Mary Magdalene was to continue the church, and not Peter?
edit:
Not to mention. You know how Jesus' first miracle was when he turned water into wine at a wedding when Mary (his mother) told him they were out? Well, in that time, it was customary that it was the groom's job to make sure there was enough wine for the party. And besides, why would Mary be making orders at someone else's wedding?
Also, Jesus was referred to as Rabbi. At that time, Rabbi was a term used to describe a male teacher who was married.

The only thing of all the fairy tale is that JC was real, a good Jewish boy who had a vision, he was tossed to the wolves by the populace, not the romans, at the behest of the rabbi. All the rest of good reading fiction used to establish a magnificent power structure for the benefit of the "Clergy" who made all the rules and frightened ignorant peasants witless by threatening hell "Unless...." Repentance was money - given generously and frequently (like every week).

Well, I'm not entirely sure that Jesus Christ is anything more then a work of fiction. .. but, for the sake of argument, yes, I do believe he was married and had a child and the church covered it up.
And why the hell wouldn't they? I mean, if they're savior was a normal family man like anyone else, that'd probably take away a lot of the awe that they need people to have.

There is huge amounts of evidence that Jesus was indeed married to Mary, but the Church has tried to conceal this evidence for centuries...
It is also believed by some that he had a twin brother, and a sister, also cover up by the Church...
I am a Pagan and I believe that a man called Jesus existed and tried his best to bring about a change, but he was only a man, not the venerated son of a God with no name...
Blessed Be... )O(

Jesus,at age 12, told His parents He was to be about His Father's business. No he was not married. He was sent for one purpose only -Calvary and the empty tomb- Some place in the bible the Lord admonishes men in His service not to marry because of the distraction marriage brings-family cares, working to support them, nurturing them, etc. and He could not stay to home and do that, could He, when He was teaching His disciples, curing people over long distances of His travels, etc.
This marriage bit is an outright lie fostered by the devil and perpetuated by the foolish. Mary was one of many women who traveled with Jesus and the disciples to minister to them with preparing food and helping where needed.Remember that the disciples were told by Jesus to leave home and families and come and follow Him. Would He tell them that if He were the head of a family and married????

No i dont personally believe that, but if somehow it is true, who cares? Marriage isnt a sin, he's still the same perfect savior who died for my sins. To make myself clear, I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS, im just making a point to people who focus too much on petty little aspects of Jesus rather than big picture.

No No No. If Jesus had of married and had a child, we would not just now be finding out about it. I think God would have wanted to know his grandson and Jesus would have wanted to stay here and help raise his son, or take his wife and son with him to heaven. And if that had of happened why did the disciples fail to mention any of it. This sounds like a pack of lies that only Satan could have started. Have a nice day!!

Anyone can say anything... You just make up some story and people who don't want to know the Truth will believe it.

Utter foolishness, Christ was much to focused on saving humanity to become involved in marriage also the Bible would have told us so. Keep in mind the Bible doesn't hide the not so nice things that devout men did back then just look at King David's rap sheet.
