I convince most americans people do not feel that every muslim is terrorist..I think the Bush government has given influence to some of the american people that every muslim is terrorist..Mr Bush is stubborn and arrogant man as the president of USA He would be the greatest man on earth.He has the super power so he can do anything he wanted to do.
He has a prejudice and hates muslims so he generalize that each muslim is terrorist .He does not know that muslim terrorist is only a small part of muslims around the world.Most muslims want to live peacefully with other religion followers and we regard that hardness is against with islamic religion

I think you overstate your case: it's not every American suspecting every Muslim, Nothing like.

But there is suspicion, on a variety of grounds.
Specific incidents from the minor to the horrendous, by those claiming to be true followers of Islam... through to a genuine clash of cultures, philosophies and theologies, which can be based on concrete differences or only on a vague tribal distaste for people "who are not, our sort".

That many Muslims, individually and collectively, are perceived (rightly or wrongly) to be slow or reluctant to divorce themselves from their own extremists doesn't help.
Yes, I'm aware than many Muslim groups have condemned the 9/11 bombings and, in the last few days, the treatment of the teacher in the Sudan. But it's hardly difficult to find statements at the other end of the spectrum.

And again the Muslim world *could* point to specific incidents by certain Americans, or American groups...
(Operation Ajax in Iran, in 1953 for example). But the West is no more monolithic and of one character than Islam is.

Here is a question for you warminister. Why out of over 44 wars happening in the world Muslims are involved in almost all of them?
What needs to be spoken as a truth is not every muslim is a terrorist but most terrorist are muslims.
If you are able to refute this with facts email me because if these are lies being told by CNN and other so-called anti-islamist medias then the burden of proof is yours.
Quit pointing the blame on American soldiers, why were they in Afghanistan? have you forgotten? why are they in Iraq? Do you remember the pictures of all the babies and little kids and women that were gassed by Saddam and the other atrocicties commited by him and his sons? Time for a reality check.

There is many good Muslims living in America itself
But...I would like to ask if Muslims are called terrorist,then those Americans in Iraq killing kids,rapping women ,killing innocent old people and destroying their country are called WHAT? the number of deathes in Iraq since that war is over 700,000

I think it could be because Americans have not seen the Muslim community really speak out against terrorism, especially in the predominantly Muslim countries where an act of terrorism is glorified.

They are in denial or ignorant about US govt foreign policy which historically has interfered with at least over 50 sovereign nations since 1945. Just read anything by Noam Chomsky on US internationalism and hypocrisy about democracy.
