I am a 22 year old college student and lately this has been happening. I've been told that I'm a pretty good looking guy before by girls my age before...but in my classes girls that are much older (like in their 30's and 40's) say that I'm cute and nice looking. How come girls my age don't say that to me? It's kinda wired that older women are more open. Why is this?

because older people are over the 'games' that are played in meeting people and in relationships. they have been there and done that. They are looking for more "stability these days"

is it because the way you dress. no disrespect you might dress like you are 30 0r 40 while at 22 you the dress code is different. I think you should try to get down with the 22 program the way you talk, dress or think dont be too mature.

because they feel they can, because it won't look like they're coming on to you. girls your age can't go up and say you're good looking or it'll look like they have a crush on you, whereas with 30 year olds it's more obvious nothing's going to happen

Older women are usually mothers and mature, right? They have nothing to lose and are probably just paying you an innocent compliment that they realize you won't take as if they're seriously wanting you.

because you aren't their peer...its always easier to be more open with people younger than us..i bet those same women would not be as open with a man their age.
