I have had way more problems than average to the point people always say I am unlucky and do you think God is trying to tell you something

I tended to blame God saying "why are you doing this to me God" or gos must be trying to tell/ teach me something and I am not getting it

I almost died Monday missing death by one second where the car impacted at a 50 mph impact. In talking with a neighbor who saw pictures of the car (which they cut me out of) she said God spared my life and I need to thank god and in talking somehow it came to me through things she said that the devil tried to kill you tonight that maybe it was not Gos causing all these bad thongs to happen but rather the devil to keep me focused on misery, hate, worry, depression etc to blunt the good god could do with my life and that the good things that came out of the bad things the devil did were from God but not the bad event..I thought I was mad at god kind of and felt I could not trust him..I recently after 23 years s

Edit--I felt like this was an epiphany tonight and recently after my mom's death four months ago, I had four incidents where I felt God was expressing great love for me and showing me I could trust him..

I still have a hard time believing he loves me as so few do.

I also feel my fear and anger and all its derivatives keep me from all the good I might do as God has greatly blessed me with many strengths and an outstanding heart..

Also when I was first saved, I felt under great attack from Satan for a while and some one at church said they felt while praying for me that I was under great Satanic attack..

then when I finally gave my life to God, all these bad things happened rapidly but I never suspected the devil in all this..now I do to the person who confirmed I had a great mission...I feel if I trusted God and conquered my fear and anger and worry and negative thinking, God would be able to use me mightily but I am so used to controlling it all and so headstrong..please pray for

tuberoot..it is odd that you said that as I just asked my neighbor..how can I get closer to God and also in part answered it with seek him first and put him first and all these other things he will give you too but he must be first and truthfully he has been low on the priority list and I talked to everyone but Hm and now am seeing that and regretfully so as all people usually eventually disappoint you but god always loves us and has our best good in mind.

It is true that what you expect you will get and what you see you will go toward and what you think, will be your life.
It took me so long to find the real meaning to that. I found it. I hope this hits you right in the heart, because I get that's what you are searching for.
#1 Don't Blame no one! Not the devil, not God, not your friend, not your enemy, not your family. No one! It is sometimes you and sometimes it is someone else.(...for all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God)
#2 Bless those who do you wrong and you will be blessed. Curse those who do you wrong and you will be cursed. I hope you will be blessed.
#3 I hope you will thank God for what you do have. He will only reward anyone who takes care of (or doesn't neglect) what he has already given.
#4 Respect those under you and help if you can.... they may just pay you back one day in an unexpected way, or maybe God will through someone else. Then hope, that those you help will help someone else some time, even if it is not you. Even more important, Respect those above you, not only is it possbile for them to reach down and help you out(or up), but it is impossible to try and get ahead when anyone(you or I) despises someone who already is ahead. (In truth, it's a double negative)
#5 Expect to get the rewards God promised. He did promise them, but most people (until recently, me too) think that expecting something (anything) from God is a bad thing, that you or I should do it for nothing (sound familar-it did to me) No, You Should do it for the promises that he has already made. That is the motivation he has given us to do his work. Would you expect the dentist to fix your teeth if you paid him? Would you expect the mechanic to fix your car if you paid him?
Would you expect to eat a meal you paid for?
Then, why not expect to get God's promises, when you already do the things he has asked you to do?
You get it if you've earned it!!!! **If I havn't alrewady said, you must believe he will, otherwise he won't.....but he will when you believe what he has said.
***In Christ name, I hope this inspires you, and anyone who reads it.

The truth of the matter is that the Devil that IS the root of all evil.

I know that is so old that we really don't want to hear it, but it is still true.

I understand that we are also partially to blame for our own problems.

Another saying I really like is: " The decisions we make today, dictate the life we lead tomorrow." another way of putting it is " you have to sleep in the bed you make." Ether way they say the same thing.

We as believers, have an obligation to try to follow the teachings of Christ as best as we can.

What is so great about that is he knew and still knows that we are born into sin and are made of sin, he knows that we have a body, spirit, and a sole.

It is the sole that he has focused on the most. He made a way we being imperfect can achieve perfection. Through his efforts we can become more than we currently are.

Now enough of that talking, we both probably understand the Bible quite well, so, I think that if we just do the best we can then there is nothing else we can do.

sounds stupid but it is my belief.

The way I have always done it is I thank God for what is good and I blame the Devil or myself for things that go bad.

The most important thing to remember is that we all have the freedom of free choice, the choice to chose to do or say bad things or good things. Each of these choices are like steps that lead us down a life long road, one that leads ultimately to death for the body and ether joy or sorrow for the spirit through our sole.

this is a really long way of saying that you are in control of your life, chose wisely.

Not everything that happens in life is to be blamed on the devil or God. Some things are simply circumstance. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time, and believe it or not but alot of the bad things that happen to us is sometimes our fault. Every decision we make has a consequence and Sin definately has greater consequences. God is not doing these things to you. A better question to ask would be why he is ALLOWING these things to happen.(there is a difference. The bible is very clear when it states that the devils sole purpose is to kill, steal and destroy. He tried it with Jesus and we are no different. He wants to destroy us! Fight him with the word. That is your most powerful weapon against every assignment the enemy has for you. It is sharper than a two edged sword!! Next time the negative voices or thought come or you feel everything is going wrong.... start quoting scripture and claim the VICTORY given to you at the cross!!!!

Okay, here's the skinny. I didn't read all the details, but skimming through i got enough to know where you're coming from. Look at it this way. You say you dedicated your life to God and then all sorts of bad things started happening to you. Whatever you call the enemy of God, when you choose to dedicate your life to God, it will then start attacking in hopes that you'll weaken your resolve, renounce your dedication and join it instead. God is the power that comes to your heart and into you, that gives you the strength, courage, wisdom and guidance with which to get through and past the bad things. Non-believers and deniers can call it what they want. I call it God. God gives you the strength to find the joy you need to help you overcome sadness. The calm to overcome anger. The clarity to overcome confusion. Etc. All the symptoms that bad things happening to you that could lead you to do even worse things to yourself, God is the force that guides you to the antidote. And why does God 'let' bad things happen? Why does a parent let a child fall off a bicycle and risk hurting itself? So it will learn. You can't ride the bicycle for your child. All you can do is show it how, let it go, be there for it when it falls to console and comfort it, and cheer it on when it finally gets the hang of it. God lets us find our own way because God respects the Free Will with which we are gifted, even at the expense of watching us p-i-s-s our lives away. Then God is sad for us. God guides and consoles. Anti-God lies, tricks, deceives, manipulates and controls.

You have so many answers here and long ones too I wasn't going to bother to answer. Didn't think you needed my help (still don't) but here is an idea. You need a personal miracle. Some little thing that means a great deal to you but is of no consequence to anyone else, is almost impossible, and hopefully can reoccur every day as you rise from sleep. That way when it seems that bad things are out to get you (and they probably are) it is a bit easier to remember that God loves you. Your miracle is your proof. This is a method you might consider to get it started. http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-7nW.GC8hd6Myqk3bfl.QI9FwSyY4jw--?cq=1&p=19 May the Spirit bless you with his real name.
P.S. You probably have not been told His name nor have you been told how to pronounce it. Ask and it shall be given you.

There is so.... much good information here for you to glean from. I just want you to know - you are not alone. God is the awesome the creator of all things. Suggest reading Isiah 54:15-17
Romans 5: 1 - Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith (a gift from God) into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
Is the cup 1/2 full or 1/2 empty?
The Christian walk is not an easy path, it is a narrow path, not a broad highway. You have choices - how are you going to look at life? The Christians of the New Testament church died horrible deaths. Many Christians are suffering still, they are willing to die because they have been given the opportunity to know Christ and share Him with others. The Lord never promised us an easy road. Are you willing to pick up your cross and follow Him? No matter what it brings?

its NOT easy being a Christian, when I am on the right path, praying, worshiping, trying to do my best everyday, and do everything out of love BOOM- something happens, sometimes little things, and sometimes huge things that I have no idea how I will get out of.

I have blamed God for so long, but I realized too that the Devil had his hand on me, trying to get me to hate God, loose all faith and give up- but I read alot of scripture and it got me through all the hard times!

when something happens, and the Devil puts his hand on me, I tell him back off and I rebuke him in Jesus name! I turn to prayer, to God, and scripture and I always come out perfect! If you are stressed, and things arent going your way, thats when God is right there with you, and you are never alone, even though so many times it feels like you are.

Put on that armor of God, Jesus told us all about it! and you have to equip yourself for the spiritual battle that goes on, everyday you wake up. Prayer of jeabez is wonderful too, here are some scriptures that will help you when you need it. Spend time with God, lean on him, trust him and love him with all your heart. Dont let the Devil grip you-

"Jabez cried out to the God of Israel,
- "Oh, that you would bless me
- and enlarge my territory!
- Let your hand be with me,
- and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain."
And God granted his request." - 1 chron 4:10

Eph 6:10-18 ( armor of God)
Romans 8:37-19
Belt of TRUTH: Deut 4:39, Psalm 23:1, 181:3
Breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS: Psalm 100:3, Rom 3:23-24, 6:23, Gal 2:20-21, Phil 3:8-10
Sandals of PEACE: Rom 5:1, Eph 2:14, John 14:27, 6:33, 20:21
Shield of FAITH: Rom 4:18-21, Heb 11:1, 1 Pet 1:6-7
Helmet of SALVATION: Ps: 16, 23, Heb 1:3-6

Both the Devil and God play parts in our lives at times, though it may be surprising the devil plays less of a part than God does. The things the devil does to us humans only God Himself can stop. In reality, the Devil only plays a part in killing when he fears that his will will not be done.
I have had many problems in my own life as well. I've suffered an abusive would have been stepfather during my childhood years, divorce between my parents at a when i was like 5 or 6, and the deaths of both of grandfathers, as well as countless other things, and sadly i have done many evils myself. There were a few times where God had saved me from death.
You suffered an extremely painful and narrow escape from death, but that was not the doing of evil, just an unfortunate event God saved you from.
So in a manner of speaking God is responsible for the bad things that have happened in your life, but they are no reason not to trust or get angry with Him. Everything you, and all humans, have suffered and lived through was because God knew you would survive and emerge a stronger, wiser person (hence the saying, "what doesnt kill you makes you stronger").
In your case, the devil may have played a part...psychologically, not physically. he does want us to focus on misery and he will use all the bad events in our life against us so that we may turn on God.
Think of the times you have narrowly eluded death, been blessed, survived through hard times and hard relationships, or just was happy at times, and know that it was God who helped you, who made u happy, who walked with you and comforted you when you were not well.

Make your amends with God as you so choose to. Go in peace in His name, and may He bless you and protect you forever and ever.

I read a story of a woman that lost her baby when she was 5 months pregnant and she went into a store to get an arrangement for her baby's funeral. While she was there she noticed that people were buying long stem roses without the roses, just the stems with the thorns. She asked the florist why they were doing that and he told her that they do it to remind them and to be thankful for the things God has given them. The bad and the good.
In life, there are good and bad things that happen to us and we Praise the Lord when the good things happen, but we want to blame God when the bad things happen, instead of relying on Him to help us through the bad times.

It looks like you've had a difficult time. I agree. But you aren't the only one.

God did not make this difficult to understand. It's simple to know your standing with Him.

Please, pay attention to this, I am going to tell you something very important.

God made it so that it was easy to carry the burden He has for you. What we ALL have to do is trust Him.

THAT'S IT!

We read the Bible to find out what He promised, then we pick one of His many promises and make it our own promise to trust God with.

So if you trust God through Jesus Christ, you have peace with God. Now some of these things MIGHT have happened to get your attention. Now make it worth His while, start to trust Him regardless of the circumstances.

I see you have a problem with knowing what to do. Well, God told me what to do about that.

Read this closely and trust Him for what He said!

3 Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:

6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
( Psalm 37 )

You have to do it or you will never get close to God!
