i let people take "smoke breaks" even if they don't smoke and its the night shift its not like we have anything better to do

supervisors are supposed to LEAD BY EXAMPLE. You are not doing that. They draw a paycheck and they have to stay awake to do their work, and earn their pay. They see you sleeping, and conclude that you are also drawing a paycheck, BUT you are sleeping on company time. Why not just get your zzz's at home ? If you need a nap during the day, go home for a few hours. It is just not fair to your workers to FLAUNT that you can sleep in front of them. They will have no respect for you whatsoever.

Is it a crappy job or a real job? if its some crappy job like working at a CVS or Walgreens than sleep away. The jerks dont pay you enough anyways so might as well partake of some sleep. If its a real job grow up and earn the pay your getting. The co-workers who are getting angry if it is a crappy job should just shut up and deal. they dont need to know your asleep either.

its simple , you will get the answer..........
sleeping at your work place may make your co-workers also feel drowsy by looking at you....this may disturb the working environment....
so as you are a supervisor supervise your co-workers that they are not sleeping at your workplace....

well then that's REALLY BAD, because if you are the supervisor then you should set a good example towards the people below you. what kind of a leader are you???? a good team is defined mostly by a good leader. i would also be upset with you if you were my supervisor!!! i think i would actually report you to your supervisor.

I have no idea. I say go ahead and sleep. You're the boss. You do what you want. If they don't like it, they need to work harder so they can get that kind of promotion.

Because they feel like you aren't doing anywork and like its not fair for them to be working hard while you have so little to do you can just take a naptime. They probably think you're a lazy bum and that you don't deserve to be their superviser (I don't necessarily--I'm just saying thats probably how they feel).
