Spirituality is something so personal that its expression cannot be strictly defined. With this in mind, what about your religious faith inspires you to change? What aspirations for yourself do you derive from this inspiration?

Jack, I believe that we are on this earth to learn lessons and evolve over countless reincarnations to become the ultimate in spirital beings. It is very personal like you say, because we are all in different stages of this evolution. Therefore our lessons and our goals are all different.
The fact that this is our goal, and wanting to learn the lessons i came here to learn, is what inspires me to achieve success. I try to be the best person i can be.
The yucky situations which I have found myself in during this life time, are not situations that i would like to have to repeat in another life time. So whenever i feel that i am meant to be learning a lesson, i stand back and assess the issue to try and be sure i am handleing it as well as i can.
I think i also aspire to be the best i can be as a tribute to the Goddess, as a way of being thankful to her.
Wonderful Question Jack, Blessed Be!

Yes. Yes I do. Thanks for asking such a thoughtful and thought-provoking question. last year my goals were less than noble, and I ended up in a place I didn't want to be. I didn't change my spiritual habits until I met the monk, though, just at the beginning of this fall. A bunch of puzzle pieces fell into place, and although I have a long hard road ahead of me, at least I'm cleaning up a little. You have NO idea how bad I've been, sweet innocent Aussie.

* to be there 24/7/365 for my friends and family.

* to lift up, visit and encorage the brokenhearted, lonely, sick, poor and hurting.

* to motivate those who are weak and overwhelmed by the social ills of life

"Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:12-14.

* To give and to do go to all men, but especially to those of the faith.

* to seek peace and pursue it.

"Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run
in such a way that you may win.

Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.

Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air;

but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified." - 1 Corinthians 9:24-27.

To put aside my fears and anxieties and just enjoy life. I believe God or the creator truly wants to see people happy. Life tends to get in the way and it really takes time to find your inner happiness.

No. It's like having cartoon goals; it's not reality.
