The fabrication of satan in the Bible is actually pretty interesting.
In the start, God took full responsibility for all the bad things that happened to people.
Then the authors thought that God shouldn't be held accountable for such things, so they invented ma'laks in Job I believe. Ma'laks were angels that did God's dirty work for him (but God gave them the orders).
Still, in the New Testament the authors decided that God shouldn't have anything to do with evil, so they took all the ma'laks, gave them free will, and made them into a single entity--- Satan.

the evidence of existence of the devil is right where the evidence there is a god is. And fear does keep most people with a conscience in line. Fear of consequences for inappropriate actions.

If you trust God properly you'll never trust the devil.
If you trust the devil, you'll never trust God properly.
The book of Genesis is about the knowledge of good and evil, the light and the dark, truth and lies, life and death, a lifetime of knowledge vs an eternity of ignorance.
Many people will surely die not knowing enlightenment.

Regina you are perfectly right.
I "do not believe evil" spirits... I trust God.
People who fear the devil are blindly creating they're own fear. Leading themselves to slaughter with reckless abandon, blindly trusting absolution in death, never trusting God's truth in life.
No salvation for the worshipers of deception, in this life or the next.

The devil rules people by fear. He is a murderer, liar, slanderer, thief, etc. since the beginning. He tempts mans flesh to do these evils.
I put the devil under my feet, by the power of Jesus Name. That would include any type of fear the devil tries to inflict.

The evidence of evil is in Man. All around you. Trust in the Lord. I do. He keeps me safe. Seek wisdom. Yea. I am worried about it but I trust in the Lord to get me through. Wisdom's chains are heavy, but worth it.

" I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. (19) and anyone takes words away from this Book of prophecy God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, wich are described in this book.
-Rev 22:18-19
He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But the Cowardly, the UNBELIEVING, the VILE, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who pracitce magic arts, the idolaters, and all liars- their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfer. This is the second death"
