so do you just go to the people and say "can i volunteer here" or do you have to fill out a form?

i know you have to fill a form and wait, for vounteering at the library

Yes, just go on in and ask to be connected with the department that handles the volunteers. there will be forms, and sometimes training in fact. How kind of you to think of going this. We never have enough volunteers. It looks very very good on a resume too!!!!!!! And you learn if you would be interested in a medical career!

Just email your local hospital. Go to their website and look under "Volunteering" it will give you all the directions you need. They will call you in for an interview, have you fill out a form, ask you what kinds of things you are interested in, and then take it from there.
