See, this might be something hard for your ex if he still loves you. This is happening to me right now, my boyfrined broke up with me about 2 months ago and now he has been calling me and we have been talking on the internet because he is in another country, but for me it is hard because I still love him and miss him and when we talk sometimes I feel bad and I say things that later I regret:( because he wants to be my friend... and for me it is hard to see him just as a "friend"... but still... it depends on how the person is... and if this is something that you really want, you should try... tell him what you think and why you want to be his friend, be sincere... and good luck!!! =D

from personal experience, these situations don't usually end well for the person who misses and loves the other. However, you have to do all you can to get them back so that in your heart you know you tried and that there is no question about whether you two are meant to be together or not. Love can be a bain or the most wonderful feeling in the world...

you don't need to talk to your ex, especially if you feel you are still in love with him.. why prolong your agony, hon?
perhaps find comfort with family and friends... do things you like to do, take up a hobby and fill your life with as much activity as possible. you need to keep your mind occupied and OFF him.
apparently it wasn't working out since you broke up. surely you are a lovely girl. why waste it?

okay bite the bullet just say to him what you wrote here that you have strong feelings for him and would it be possible to resume the relationship? if no then you have at least asked him

I think it will be too hard to be just friends with someone that you have had sex with. Do you really see yourself just being friends with NO SEX???? I think that will be hard. What if he agrees to just be friends and dates other girls, won't that eat you up inside? I think it will be very very hard!!! Good luck to you!
