The bible states not to be unequally yoked - if a Christian marries someone that does not have the same Spirit and beliefs the consequences would be strife in their life. The Lord desires we live our lives to serve Him, dwelling in His peace that passes all understanding, this would not be accomplished easily if a couple is caught up in concerns and conflict.

Nope, but if they are really into the Christian faith and think that everyone else is going to have eternal suffering, then probably. It just depends how much the person is into the faith, if they think that there really is nothing else, then it does not quite work. However, I know of some people who have mixed religions who are married and they are fine. It just depends on the people, if you are thinking about it, you should figure out what is important to you. See if your views don't clash in the important parts. Marriage is something that should not be taken lightly.
I hope this helps, ;).

The two are made one. How does a believer marry someone who doesn't believe and say by their actions my spouse and I don't need to share a common religion?
The Chirstian's model is Jesus and is commanded to pick up his/her cross. The non-Christian's model is the cast system.
How will the Christian wanting to serve and his/her spouse wanting to rule over others, be in a healthy relationship?

Yes, Christians should marry other Christians.
If you don't marry a Christian you will have the devil for a father-in-law.
