i'm christian. and i am for homosexuality 100%. it's none of my business who anyone is with, who anyone wants to marry, and what not. i know the church i go to is very open about things like this. they accept everyone, no matter who you are. i go to a methodist church, it's christian, idk if it's any different though. it kind of sucks how people are so judgemental when it says it's a sin in the bible. i'd go with this quote, "only God will judge me." and go to whatever church you feel suites you.
and that ignorant sl*t that says satan makes people believe they are bi or gay should go to hell.

I bet if you looked around you could find a church that was gay friendly. There are gay Reverends and Pastors so go to one of their churches and see what you think. My church is personally against homosexuals and I have never attended a church that wasn't, but I know they exist. If there is not one in your town and you love attending services then consider relocating. People move for all sorts of reasons and I think moving so you can attend a church you love is a great reason to relocate. A church family can be so important and impact you for the rest of your life, (provided you find the right one). When you are down you can always find a helping hand, and if you like to be that helping hand to others there is always someone who would benefit from a loving church member. Good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for.

Churches exist for the spiritually sick (the human race). To deny any human access is a sin !!! Since Christians sin (after all ... they are human), a gay person can still be "gay" and a Christian. There were "gays" in the church at Corinth, during the apostle Paul's life (see: first Corinthians Chapter 6, verses 9 - 11 ... re: "and such were some of you"). Of course; the heart's desire for these gay people and alike, were to change.

Sure there are churches out there that accept gays or bi-, but that doesn't mean God does, everyone shouts that only God can judge you, and he surely will, as he also judged Sodem, as when he judges, it will be according to his own word, and most gays know Gods feelings on the matter, but they are pacified if they attend a church who puts pretty ribbons on sin, and accepts it as right, sorry to burst your excuse bubble, but you were not born gay, it has always been a choice.
A true Christian is to never hate anyone, and anyone should always be welcome to come to church, but to remain in sin and justify it as ok will not be accepted by God, Just because the people in that church may say it is ok to be gay, doesn't make it ok, not everyone that goes to church are Christian. That would be like saying a church accepts a murderer, they were born that way, just as a white man is white, and a red man is red, a murder is just his own lifestyle and we should accept that.

How can a gay person be christian at the same time? Well, they cant. Most christian establishments do not support gay or bisexual people because gay or bisexual people do not support or follow the Bible's teachings and commandments. The Bible specifically states that gay, bisexual people will not inherit the kingdom, but that they are sinners, and will be thrown down into Gehenna, or oblivion. In Sodom and Gomorrah, children and grandpas alike had sex with one another regardless of gender or even species! Then sulfur and fire swallowed the cities entirely. As you can see, God dislikes those that do not live with the purpose that he had made, and actively disobey the laws that He sets.
So i dont understand. Why would you want to become a Christian beleiver if by your actions you are willing to disobey God and not repent as to not have his favor?
Churches have no way of telling your sexuality, if they did that would be very disturbing. God is the ultimate source of deliverance. It would be wise to make sure where you stand, so you aren't partial, but can have it all.
I believe a gay person can accept Christ and become recognized as a fellow believer. All of us come to the Lord as sinners but through bible reading, study, and interaction with fellow believers we will know what is right or what is not pleasing to God. I realize that many people (including Christians) have sinful tendencies, but I also believe that these tendencies can be overcome.
By the way you are welcome in my Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Although we do not support gay people, we wish all to become accepted by God and have accurate bible knowledge.

I'm gay and catholic. I feel I'm living a secret life because I let the people at my church believe whatever they want to believe. I actually do know of about 2 other girls who were openly gay at my church and no one turned them away but I'm not ready for all that. I think it would be easier to know if it was a smaller church though since you can easily run into someone from church when you're out with gay friends or something. God knows what I am and I'm still breathing. my life hasn't been tragic (you know how people always like to say bad things come to bad ppl and stuff like that) so whatever anyone else has to say doesn't matter. Your relationship with God has nothing to do with anyone but you and him.

First, not all Christian churches are anti-gay, and there are even gay churches. I believe United Churches of Christ (not the Church of Christ!) accept anyone who believes and wishes to worship with them. Universal and Unitarian churches also have no prohibition for gays. The Catholic Church does have a group for gays, but you have to want to live a celibate life. Just google Gay Churches or Gays and Christianity and you will find what you're looking for. There is no reason to deny yourself the fellowship of a church if that is what you want.

I believe a gay person can accept Christ and be born again. All of us come to the Lord as sinners. I think, however, that as that person develops as a Christian through prayer, reading the Bible and fellowship with other believers, that he will realize that homosexuality is not pleasing to God. I realize that many people (including Christians) have homosexual tendencies, but I believe these tendencies can be overcome.
By the way, gay or not, you would be welcome in my church (Calvary Chapel).

I'm not gay .. I'm an "atheist" though and do not understand why anyone would have problems going to church and being a Christian just because they are gay.
All these Christians say Jesus forgives..so I'm assuming, when you die, he will forgive you as long as you ask him.
It's not your fault...grrr, I get so upset with this Christian concept.. treating totally good people badly because of their personal issues.

A "True Christian" does not practice "sin". Homosexuality is a "sin". God must call you to become a True Christian. You just can't say..."I think I will become a Christian and go to church so that God may grant me eternal life in His Kingdom."......God doesn't work that way. God already knows who and who will not accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this age. Our Creator, therefore, controls the timing of His harvest. When God founded His Church by imparting His Spirit to certain believers on the Day of Pentecost in A.D. 31, He was expanding His spiritual harvest. It was the beginning of what Joel prophesied, that God will ultimately pour out His Spirit on "all flesh" (Joel 2:28-29; Acts 2:14-17).
God's Spirit within us identifies us and sanctifies us-sets us apart as Christians. "If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ," wrote Paul, "he is not His," and "as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God" (Romans 8:9, 14).
