You can't really tell by a simple glance. I work at a department store and am a real stickler for quality control. If a box of condoms is open and comes to my attention, I will consider that the quality assurance of that box of condoms has been tampered with (i.e. pinpricking the condoms) and is therefore not sellable to the public. I will then tear off all the flaps on one end of the box so said box can never be sold to the public.

But I do commend you for posting a question like this. A hole in a condom can lead to nasty problems, a accidental pregnancy is at least non life threatening.

Don't listen to Jan's answer! The anti sperm condoms can cause sperm problems for him and could even end up in him not being able to make sperm anymore. That's bad.

And Ninja's advice is a good try.

You could also try water but that'll take some lube off.

Keep in mind nothing is 100% so there's always a risk of becoming pregnant. Make sure you love and trust him >>;;

If you're having sex, you should actually be using 2 kinds of birth control anyway. You should be on the pill as well as using a condom every single time. Do not play around with sex and risking a pregnancy, you need to protect yourself.

If you read the directions on the box it tells you how to use it, test it and that it's not 100% effective. It also suggests using spermacide as well as other methods of birth control in conjunction with the condom.

Can I tell you when.........no. Can I tell you how, yes. Poor Manufacturing, Condom gets caught on genital piercings are just a couple reasons how they get wholes in them. Keep in mind, they are not 100% effective and every man dribbles before he shoots so dont put the condom on at the last minute. Yes, you can get pregant from pre-ejaculation.

Blow it up like a balloon and hold the end closed. If air leaks out, it's got a hole...

If you're looking for a hole, yes. Most people don't look though.
