I'm a 31 yr. old single mother living with my parents. I was living on my own for about 6 years, but my house burnt down. I haven't been able to find as good a deal on rent since then. I could work another job to make more money, but that would mean never seeing my son. So, thankfully, I have amazing understanding parents (who get to have their ONLY grandchild around a lot).

Honestly, most people are out by the time they graduate college. I'm sure you know that. A lot of people have to move back sometimes, during a crisis, but only temporarily. If you are still at home, and have made no attempt to get out on your own, you may have a problem. Women at your age have no excuse for sponging off of their parents. Get out there and struggle like the rest of us. It'll teach you responsibility and pride.

By their 30's, most people will have gotten through college, been married and maybe even have had a kid.
Are you saying that you have not accomplished any of these?
Winding up back in their parents' home is usually as a result of a divorce or other upheaval.
