My parents still have this crazy influence over me. I'm 26, married and I still value their influence. Granted, decisions are ultimately up to my husband and I... but they always have the best advice, and I know they mean well for me.

Family, probably. Parents know best. They're the ones with the most experience and who have raised you for the last x many of years. They've known you your whole life, so their opinions matter more than that of a peer.

Family... I've gone through many friends, ten years from now, your family will still influence your life while many friends will be gone.. BUT you still have to make choices that are right by you even if they go against family and friends..

My family can be wishy washy.. Family also has idea's and expectations of you that might not be what is right for you.. I think friends are better sources for what is right for you.. They're usually on the same page as you and have the same interest that you do.

I have no preference, I go with whoever has the input that seems most logical, or whoever agrees with what I was thinking in the first place.

When you are in treatchery, you will listen to you friends and mostly your boyfriends. When you grow up, you will listen to your family because until then you have the right sense.

Friends. With my family I know I can be myself and and be blunt with them. Friends are a tricky business, peer pressure and the need to be accepted make their comments count.

I value my husband's opinions the most because he is both my family and best friend.
I hate to sound sappy, but it's true!
