My mum is 44, she didn't have her period for about 3 months. She finally started, then she got an ultra sound, they said her ovaries look fine, but when they looked inside her uterus with a ultra sound camera, they said it was inflamed & they couldn't diagnose it, they asked her to leave the hospital & the doctor will call. Also, her uterus is also swollen.

P.S. We live STRESSFUL lives, but this has never happened before, the types of cancer that has run in the family are Heart Canver, Lung Cancer, & Colon cancer.

PLEASE HELP

You please wait for the call of doctor and see what he says. Becuase my mere ultrasound Scan Cancer of Uterus can not be confirmed. She require further tests. And the oncologist will tell you the tests to be done.

Uterine cancer usually occurs after menopause. But it may also occur around the time that menopause begins. Abnormal vaginal bleeding is the most common symptom of uterine cancer. Bleeding may start as a watery, blood-streaked flow that gradually contains more blood. Women should not assume that abnormal vaginal bleeding is part of menopause.

A woman should see her doctor if she has any of the following symptoms:
* Unusual vaginal bleeding or discharge
* Difficult or painful urination
* Pain during intercourse
* Pain in the pelvic area
These symptoms can be caused by cancer or other less serious conditions. Most often they are not cancer, but only a doctor can tell for sure.

Diagnosis
If a woman has symptoms that suggest uterine cancer, her doctor may check general signs of health and may order blood and urine tests. The doctor also may perform one or more of the exams or tests described on the next pages.
* Pelvic exam -- A woman has a pelvic exam to check the vagina, uterus, bladder, and rectum. The doctor feels these organs for any lumps or changes in their shape or size. To see the upper part of the vagina and the cervix, the doctor inserts an instrument called a speculum into the vagina.
* Pap test -- The doctor collects cells from the cervix and upper vagina. A medical laboratory checks for abnormal cells. Although the Pap test can detect cancer of the cervix, cells from inside the uterus usually do not show up on a Pap test. This is why the doctor collects samples of cells from inside the uterus in a procedure called a biopsy.
* Transvaginal ultrasound -- The doctor inserts an instrument into the vagina. The instrument aims high-frequency sound waves at the uterus. The pattern of the echoes they produce creates a picture. If the endometrium looks too thick, the doctor can do a biopsy.
* Biopsy -- The doctor removes a sample of tissue from the uterine lining. This usually can be done in the doctor's office. In some cases, however, a woman may need to have a dilation and curettage (D&C). A D&C is usually done as same-day surgery with anesthesia in a hospital. A pathologist examines the tissue to check for cancer cells, hyperplasia, and other conditions. For a short time after the biopsy, some women have cramps and vaginal bleeding.

You are already stressed. please do not worry and conduct all the above tests as suggested by the doctor to find the exact position and if necessary start treatment.

I also suggest you to take your Mom to another oncologist for a second opinion and then start the treatment. At any rate you should not delay or neglect the treatment as CANCER IS STILL AN ENIGMA-

The doctor may not know why her uterus is swollen, but Jesus does! He can shrink her uterus and heal her of cancer if she has it. In the Bible, there is a story of a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years, and when she touched the hem of Jesus' garment, the bleeding stopped! (Matthew 9:20-22). There are countless other accounts in the Bible of people who had all kinds of diseases that Jesus healed them of.

Pray for your mother, and by faith give her medical conditions to Jesus to take care of, believing that He can heal her. I will be praying for her too. I'll also be praying that the stressful conditions your family are experiencing be alleviated. God bless you!!!

Lovingly,
Virginia

Before u get to stressed out, i would certainly talk with the doctor after she is examined thoroughly. It may be an infection. The tech's are not doctors, so have a glass of wine and calm your nerves! Good Luck and God Bless your family.
