the stoopid people behind me have three dogs and one of them is in our backyard. has been there half the day. this has happened before with a different dog but same owner. the last one was about the same size as mine. the one this time looks like a pit bull mix. :o
i just let my dog outside and i usually hear him bark or making noise.......all i hear is silence......so i go check on huim and i see this dog chasing him at full speed. i had to call his name and let him in the house and close the door quick enough so the other dog wouldn't get in. :o
i don't know if they were playing or what because i heard no growling or barking. and they are always at the gate with each other.(they have three dogs)
how can you not wonder where your dog is.......or maybe they are alright with their dog being outside all dang night.
should i call a dog catcher? do we even have those in memphis? i know nothing about them or their dogs and i don't want the dog in my yard overnight.
what should i do!
i want something done tonight. i would open the gate and let it run out but i don't know what it would do to me.
i'm so pissed right now!!!!!

Call the police (the NONE emergency number)
and speak to them they will be able to advise you, and give you the animal control number if there is one.
Like the other person said though, surely Memphis has an animal control.
If your scared of the dog, dont go out there. Its not worth risking it.

I myself would contact the owner first. If that does not work, then I would go to the Police. The last resort is to contact Animal Control. Animals get sick when they are picked up by Animal Control. I live in the country and I have a different dog in my backyard everyday. It drives me crazy when they get aggressive to my dog!

Call Animal Control. If you want it done now tell animal control that you are afraid of it and you have other dogs that you can't let out side because it is in your yard.If you play up on being vicious they will get there faster.

If it was me, I would call the dog warden or animal control. Im sure you have something in Memphis!
Maybe when the owners have to pay a fine to retieve their dogs from the shelter they will be better about keeping them contained.

Go knock on their door.... Other than that you'll have to wait till morning to call animal control. If your worried about it being aggressive towards your own dog call animal control in the morning anyway and fix your fence.

Yes they have those in Memphis, call animal control and they will speak to the owners and they could be fined, but at least you will have peace of mind and your baby wont be in danger of getting hurt........

Call your local Humane Society they will set traps for the dog to be captured.
