sifting and i give mine a gentle whirl in my kitchen aide with the wire attatchment

Flip it in the air or even fold it over. Both are good. Folding it over is probbably better because it traps air inside.

Beat or whip it with a whisk or something similar.. You can also take a can of compressed air and fluff it up using that.

sift it through a tamis (a drum seive) or a metal strainer of some kind (like you would use for powdered sugar)
