When you go to the MEPS to enlist the day before you go to a hotel but if you have not yet taken the ASVAB you go to the MEPS first then after youve taken it you go to the hotel. Mostly because you get up at like 4:30 and they take you on a bus together to the MEPS. You usually have no choice but to go to the hotel. so. and as for the asvab it really easy basic stuff!! youll have no problem and i not in the air fource but its the same test for all branches!!!

umm, no guarantees whatsoever that you will get your exact ship date.. when you leave is ENTIRELY dependent on what job you pick and they tailor your trip to Basic based on the start date of that school, so that you graduate Basic just in time(within a week/ten days) of reporting to school. and if you walk in with demands/constrictions, they will most likely say "thanks, but no thanks. we have plenty of candidates who are willing to go when WE need them to go, so we don't need anybody dictating to us their demands"

generally speaking, you cannot walk in off the street and do everything at once.

You don't pick the date you leave. They'll offer you jobs and depending on what you want they'll tell you what day they want you to report for starting boot camp.
