As the flood waters rose around the world it would have pushed the atmosphere up with it. This would only be possible if it was a worldwide flood like God said it was and not a recurring local flood that everyone thinks it was. Since Noah's ark was on top of the water Noah and the animals would have stayed warm enough because the air temperature would have risen with the new sea level. So at 30,000 feet it would have remained the same temperature as before the flood started. The tops of the mountains would have warmed up enough to melt any previous glaciers that were there before the flood. After the flood Noah and the animals would have had to follow the water level back down the mountain as the sea level started to drop again over time. Maybe months or years. They would also have had to abandon the ark at the top of the mountain where it originally landed. The tops of the mountains then would have refrozen over with glaciers over time as the atmosphere returned to pre flood temperatures. The reforming glaciers would have buried the remains of the ark under tons of ice and snow. Which means that it is still up there somewhere to yet be found. That is when God decides it is time for mankind to find it.

in case you think in evolution, i think of this may well be a complicated question to respond to considering you dont fairly comprehend *precisely* what adjustments the human physique might have had decrease back then or if Noah replaced into residing close to the mountains or if the Bible exaggerates approximately how severe the flood replaced into or if Mt. everest replaced into that tall decrease back then. maximum scientists who have faith interior the Lord and Noah's tale think of it befell around the tip of the final ice age whilst all the glaciers melted and made the ocean point upward push, and it might desire to no longer have been actually 40 days of rain that brought about the flooding. The unusual element is that in simple terms approximately each lifestyle worldwide huge has a narrative a pair of great flood, so there is an threat it actual would have befell.... playstation i comprehend of Noah's tale yet I dont comprehend precisely what the Bible says approximately it as i'm no longer a christian, yet i think of its complicated to no longer have faith that an incredible flood didnt take place some time past no count what faith you think. Use your suggestions you adult men, think of! and don't be too literal. Take all the information from all factors and notice what they say and then base your determination :)

Basic Chemistry states that something cannot be made from nothing. So, all of that rain must have come from somewhere, most likely the large ice reserves at the North and South Pole, the frozen tundras of the world (Russia, Alaska, Andes, etc.) Given the Ideal Gas Law, then the collected excess water would increase the pressure of the air, which would increase temperature, if volume is held constant. Ergo, cold-blooded animals would have a "new" heat source and could breathe due to the new pressurization. Of course, this only matters if you do believe in the Bible.

Is this just a question to patronize believers? I would think that if God could flood the entire earth, bring two of EVERY animal to Noah's ark, cause rain to fall in a drought-stricken terrain, and assist Noah in the perfect construction of a waterproof ark, that He could have no trouble helping every living thing breathe.

Because it didn't flood the whole world, just Noah's little part of it.

In Biblical times, the "world" was very localized. When the Great Flood occurred (possibly because of a large nearby meteor strike, possibly because of a nearby volcanic eruption, possibly because the land bridge between Spain and Africa shattered, Noah's local "world" was flooded.

Doesn't mean the rest of it was, or that it was sent as a punishment by God.

Yeah man, and he built the ark in like one hundred years, then it rained for forty days and forty nights; the heavy rain fell and flooded the land. All that is true, man.

But my favorite part is when Moses was told to strike a rock and it would give water to the Israelites. Moses struck the rock twice and God took it as a sign that Moses lacked faith in God's words and after wandering in the desert forty years they reached the promised land and Joshua took over. God took Moses up to the peak of Mount Nebo "showed him" the country far and wide, and said, "That is the land I will give to the Children of Israel, but you shall not enter it, because you doubted Me."

Kind of childish behavior isn't it? "After all your hard labor, you will not enter the promised land, because you hit a rock, twice. I find that rather offensive."

To all the people who said "The mountains were not that tall back them"

HAHAHAHAHAA! Oh... my goodness... the ignorance in that.. How fast do you think mountains grow? 6000 years ago Mt.Everest was only about 1,200 feet shorter than today. That's about a quarter of a mile. That's nothing compared to its height of 29,035. That's not that big of a difference.

If the flood were literally true, then wouldn't air be displaced by the water? He wouldn't be far from the new sea level. The earth with all that extra water would gain a bit of mass and the atmospheric pressure might actually be a bit higher at the new sea level.

I think a God who floods the earth had the atmoshere in control! Why is it that people can believe in 'good luck' and wishing on stars and when it comes to God, He has to prove Himself?????? Just the fact that you are living and breathing and that the sun rises and sets each day speaks of a God who loves His creation and just think, what if God decided to not make the sun rise each day?
