Im not sure about florida( might want to check the law), but where I live, no orange tip is in no form illigal. As far as I know, orange tips are nly requiered for shipping f items through the mail to designate them as replical.

If you want to cover that ugly tip for cheap, just use some electrical tape.

Not a bright idea.

Yes you can paint those orange tips, but they are there so that if a police officer sees you armed with a gun he will know it is a toy not a real gun. The people who cover or remove those orange tips and have realistic looking guns are only looking to create a horrible officer involved shooting incident, where the poor police officer thinks that the person is carrying a real live weapon.

If you gun already looks like a Glock then you are carrying what could be considered a deadly weapon. That little orange tip is supposed to be there to tell people that it ISN'T a deadly weapon. I know of an incident where a person got shot and killed for carrying a soldering iron that looked like a gun to a police officer. If you are carrying a very realistic weapon and police respond to a shooting in the area you immediately make yourself a valid target, if it is at night, or if you look the least bit threatening you could be SHOT!

Save your life, and keep the orange tip. Not only that, but imagine how the police officer who pulled a gun on you would feel if he found out you had a doctored toy and he thought it was a deadly weapon.

Its the law. Period. So my suggestion is leave the tips alone.

In special cases, such as some airsoft events in california (Airsoft capitol of the usa) they allow guns with out orange tips. But they must pass through inspection and must be inside a case when not in use.

Also, Airsoft in Britian and Japan do not require the orange tips so if your video's origin is from there, thats why there are no orange tips.

You don't want an airsoft gun without an orange tip. It's against the law because the orange tip shows that the gun isn't real. If you don't have it on people might call the cops and if they see you shooting at people with a gun that looks real, they'll shoot you with guns that ARE real. My friends and I almost got shot even though we had the orange tip. If we didn't one of us probably would have been shot...maybe even killed

Besides the fact that it's illegal to own an airsoft gun without the orange tip, and many people have been shot by police when wielding airsoft guns without the orange tip because police mistook it for a real gun, no, I can't help you.
