Now, before you get pissed off just hear me out. It says in the bible that god sent the flood, destroyed the earth and the only ones spared was Noah, his family and his son's wives. Does that mean we're all Jewish and some weird mix of brothers, sisters and cousins. Every one including blacks, whites and asians are close blood relatives? Ummm ok what kind of person who isn't a complete idiot would believe that?

Hey Brock, if you claim that most of the old Testament never happened then the whole foundation of your religious beliefs crumble apart. If the bible is the word of your god you must believe all or non of it you cant pick and chose.

Forget the Bible for a second.

If there were 2 related people on the earth created with male and female organs, how do you think that humans #3 and 4 were made? That's right. A Hillbilly hoe-down, minus the cheap whiskey.

This is just genetics. We all came from one source and developed our own racial traits as gene mutations. Whether you accept the Christian, Bahai, or Darwinian explanation for it is your call, as everyone's truth is subjective. Either way, we came from one very, *very* loving family.

Doesn't that prove evolution, I mean everyone says how hard it is to believe that we came from monkeys, but not once but TWICE did civilizations rest on the fate of 6 or 7 people yea that's real believable, and how did the races come of it, was one of his sons Asian, black white, Arab, Indian, Native American, again thats real believable , no evolution doesn't exist but races were always there except in the case of the flood (seriously)

We are family, bone of bones and flesh of flesh. Same as Adam and Eve.
We are all related.
Man seems to be the last to know that, so look at man's history that now covers 6073 years in the ages old earth that was prepared ages for him as the intended inhabitant.
The blackest black skin can produce children from the whitest white skin and so they are the same seed, seed after its kind is what God produced.
The world that ends? Dying, killing, wars, accidents that cripple or kill, to old age at 70 or so and death. No one can stop the death to mankind. Only our
Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

Eph.2:7; 3:21; The world with Jesus is without end.

The Bible is not meant to be taken literately. It is NOT a history book and much of the old testament never happened. The bible IS meant to convey certain messages through its stories. The Catholic church DOES NOT officially say the whole Noah thing ever happened.

This is true according to genises we are all in bred and close blood relitives...brothers and sisters all.
Wether Genius is the literal truth or not the idea of the family of man is a good one to live by...as we should seek to love those around us.

Well, the Bible, you know. I seldom find myself turning to the Bible for any real information.

If you read something about the evolution of modern man, and the history of the ice ages, you might discover that we're all rather more closely related than one would think, though.

I agree with Brock. Adam and Eve, and Noah provide lessons about God's relationship with humans.

I think most of the people who take the bible literally are inbred

we all came from adam. the jews came from abraham/isaac/jacob.

yes we're all inbred. but consider how perfect their genes were in contrast to ours. time and regeneration has diluded the gene pool. that is why it isn't medically safe to procreate with close relatives.

all matter and life has a curse upon it... that is why everything in this age is doomed to decay. the whole creation groans...

We're all the same species, so necessarily, we are inbred. That said, the Bible is just a bunch of ancient nonsense that can be safely ignored.
