Perhaps if you spent more time watching ANIMAL PLANET instead of CARTOON NETWORK......
Anyway, as generally the driver of some big huge monster vehicle -- which has been responsible for the Kersplat of the hare -- has been more concerned with the consumption of caffeine or Coors, rather than carrots. Science knows that either substance can severely interfere with focusing, therefore any beneficial visual results of eating carrots is nullified. In other words, the driver is too wired or too wasted to see Peter Cottontail at the side of the road.
But, since you asked me specifically, I eat a lot of carrots, and haven't hit a bunny at the side of the road yet.

Hey man, the carrots are really good for eyesight.
As for the dead rabbits on the highway.... maybe they were busy eating carrots when they got hit !!!
OR
Maybe they ate too many carrots and their stomach got brust and they died!!!
OR
They were looking at the wrong direction !!!
Think about the possibilities!!!!!

Maybe, just maybe, someone has been dangling the carrot in front of them to lure them into the highway.
Maybe all of the dead rabbits are male rabbits that are getting hurt because they are like the rest of the male species; they are too busy concentrating on the opposite sex to pay attention to what is right in front of them.
