Sorry but there is no such thing as a "cheap" Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Depending on where you buy one you're going to pay at least $700 - $1,000 for one that comes from a puppy mill or back yard breeder. A "Pet Quality" Cavalier will cost you anywhere from $1,200 - $2,000. Average $1,800. A "show quality" can run anywhere from $2,500 up to $5,000+. You could try finding one on Petfinder.com but most that are for adoption through there have some kind of medical problem. Good luck. :)

Go to Cavalierhealth.org Read and Heed!!!!
Never buy a Cavalier from the newspaper or through a pet shop. There are many irresponsible breeders with Cavaliers who will assure you that their Cavs are "vet checked" and that they will give you a health contract of some type to guarantee. They will tell you all kinds of blather to make a sale. Their breeding standard doesn't exist. Please follow what is suggested in Cavalierhealth.org You don't want to get a "cheap" puppy and then have it present with a mitral valve problem or other common inherited diseases prevalent because of so much bad breeding... at a young age and then lose your puppy through death at a young age...not to mention huge vet bills. Yes, this all sounds scary right now, but if you read and become educated about how to get a healthy Cavalier, it won't sound scary, and you will search for a Cavalier in the right way and you will have a good outcome:
a lovely healthy Cavalier. I have two, and I love them. I know you are eager to find a Cavalier, but think about the fun and education in getting there. If possible, be patient, look for a large dog show in your area where there will be Cavaliers showing. Visit the breeders at the show (walk up to an exhibitor) and tell them that you are looking for a reputable breeder. If you have done your homework (read read read about health probs. in Cavaliers and what to do to make your chances good that you will have a healthy pet) you will be more confident about then asking questions of breeders. You will also find, by the time you do bring a beautiful Cav home, that you will feel confident about raising him/her. Good luck, but I know that you will find your answer.

I don't know much about these breeders, but they are in Ada, so really close..

Edited a few days later:
I've now read a bit about them.. (not just from the site).. they seem to be pretty responsible.. (although they don't have a price listed for puppies).. It seems they breed for their own showdogs... puppies that are not quite show quality are available as pets only with a spay/neuter contract... and the dogs are raised in the home.. any non show quality ones that don't are not "adopted" are kept as pets.. They focus only on one breed, they do not constantly have litter after litter.. (which shows a respect for the mother) .. and they own both of the parents.

There are no such thing as a cheap Cavalier from a breeder. They are expensive and until the last few years, were a relatively rare breed. They have become popular and problems are emerging. Poorly bred ones often have heart murmurs. The least expensive one you will find is through a rescue organization.
