My understanding is that according to Judaism, animal sacrifices are only permitted in the Temple at Jerusalem.
Since the Temple has not been rebuilt yet, no sacrifice is permitted at this time. However, animal sacrifices will occur again when the Temple is rebuilt. Special cattle are being bred with the expectation that a perfect red heifer meeting the description found in Numbers 19 will be born. With this animal's sacrifice, the purifying waters can be created which are necessary for the rites to follow.
In 70 C.E. when the Temple was destroyed, Christians interpreted this as a sign of the truth of Christianity. When the Emperor Julian started reconstructing it not long after that, Christians panicked, thinking that if it were rebuilt, the reinstitution of sacrifices would negate their religion. Nowadays attitudes have flipped 180 degrees, and many Christians no longer think that a fully functioning Temple, including sacrifices, would threaten their religion's claims of being the "true" fulfilment of Judaism. How times have changed.

The way you phrase this -- perhaps you are not Christian?
If you are and believe in the Bible the answer is simple. Read this text:
Hebrews 10:1-4, For the law, having in a shadow of the destined good things, not the very image of the things, they can never, with the same sacrifices which year by year they offer evermore, make them who approach, perfect; 2Else would they not, in that case, have ceased being offered, by reason of those rendering the divine service having no further conscience at all of sins, being once for all purified? 3But, in them, is a recalling to mind of sins, year by year,
4For it is impossible for blood of bulls and goats to be taking away sins. (Rotherham)
9:28 (ASV) "so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time . . . "
^^^^^^^^^^
It should be obvious to you that animal sacrifices are ineffective and cannot cleanse us of our sins. Only Christ sacrifice and our faith in it can do so.

Sooooo you know that for a fact do you? I think the point is, that animals are no longer sacrificed, and that Jesus was a vegetarian. He also wanted to let all the doves free, that were caged in the market place.
It is not important to me, and I am certainly not going to get rilled up about it, what hap pend way back than. What is important to me personally that I love all animals and the joy they bring to my life. Even the lonely chicken and the grunting pig.
Why are you so frustrated. It is such a waste of precious time on this earth. Take a deep breath and let the past live in the past.

what faith are you??? no christians do not and should not endorse animal sacrifice. read daniel 9 Christ caused the oblation to cease.
animal sacrifices in ancient israel were illustrating the coming sacrifice Jesus Christ would make on the cross. bulls and rams didn't please the Lord... do you really think it would? God can re-create another bull like nothing... but He can't create another you... our souls are eternal and completely unique, that is how He planned it.

"...there is no longer any sacrifice for sin..." Heb 10:18
"Be imitators of God, therefor, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." Ephesians 5:1-2

Jesus was the final sacrafice. When He died on the cross that did away with animal sacrafice. Sacraficing animals was only a temporary way of covering sin. Once Jesus died He died for sins past, present, and future.
Hebrews 10:4 says, "it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins"
Sacraficing animals is insufficient, but Christ's blood was sufficient.
I hope this helps!

What you should do is accept the final sacrifice that was made when Jesus died on the cross and quit living the Old Testament.
